Sara is 1 of 50 rescued kittens ready for adoption!

Sara , a beautiful spirit and baby girl, loves being cradled in your arms for tummy rubs. Sara is 1 of 50 rescued kittens ready for adoption Saturday morning at 10am at Nevada SPCA! Sara and her siblings were at another shelter that asked for our help. All are acrobatic, friendly, and confident with people.  They are 4 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready to join responsible, indoor-only, loving forever homes.  Please kitten-proof your home for their protection. [Note: The foreground color stripes are from a dangling toy we used to help take her picture.]

Hug me.

Sara is a benevolent girl who loves hugs, reassuring her that she is safe and being watched over.  She is calm-natured, good with other gentle dogs, and compatible with cats.  Sara is a plump German Shepherd, almost 9 years of age, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Sara lost much of her vision when her dry eye condition was untreated in her previous home.  She is now on daily eye-drops and feeling immensely better.  Very special thanks to Pet'ographique for capturing her essence and kind spirit in this brand new portrait.

I waited and waited, never imagining they would refuse to reclaim me.

Sara is a benevolent girl who deserves dignity and kindness for her final years.  We discovered that she was at another shelter and her previous owners were notified that she was there and waiting for them to save her.  But they reportedly told that shelter they were refusing to reclaim her.  Sara is now safe with us and we are determined to find her the stable and loving home she deserves.  She is a German Shepherd, almost 9 years of age, spayed, very gentle and humble, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Sara needs eye drops twice daily for dry eyes.  Please help us find her a hero so she is never failed again.

We are so hopeful that we may be in loving homes for the first time ever.

Update 3: Sarge was adopted on February 16th! Update 2: Sarina was adopted on January 28th! Update: Sara was adopted on January 18th! Sarina (pictured here), along with Sara and Sarge , are German Shepherds rescued from a breeding kennel. Used just to produce litter after litter of puppies for years on end for a quick buck, we do not believe they have ever known the joy and peace-of-mind of being part of a loving family. Their fortunes are changing! We had them spayed and neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Today, they debut for adoption at Nevada SPCA and they can look ahead to years of being cherished and adored in forever homes. Please be very patient with helping them adjust to living predominantly indoors and enjoying the spoils of a happy life (good food, comfortable beds & sofas & blankets, daily walks and/or playtime, and so forth). German Shepherd knowledge and/or experience is required for their adoption. Each of the three have very different personalities. S...
