Image
Herman Ryder Zoya Herman , Ryder , and Zoya are 3 more of the 40 rescued kittens ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA! All three were found outside without mothers. Herman is an orange tabby, neutered boy, 4 months of age. Ryder is an Abyssinian mix, neutered boy, 3 months of age. Zoya is a silver tabby & white, spayed girl, 3 months of age. Since their rescues they have been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home with a small dog and adult cats.

Foster heroes needed for a pregnant cat and 15 motherless kittens!

Yasmin Ryder Leonardo Yasmin , a pregnant cat expected to give birth this week, and 15 motherless kittens so far today need foster homes. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Yasmin was rescued from a suspected backyard breeder. She is a soulful girl, 2 years of age, and very grateful for kindness and comfort. Ryder's name is inspired by his love of shoulder rides and cuddling up against people's necks while they carry him. He is 7 weeks of age. He was found in a family's garage trying to escape the desert heat. Leonardo is a sporty kitten about 3 months of age. His foster commitment is very short -- as little as 2-3 weeks -- until he can be neutered and prepared for adoption to a loving, forever home. Please share the animals' post to help find foster heroes. Thank you!

Like you, I am an emotional being too.

Ryder is pulling out of a steep depression and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He became homeless because of his previous owners' home foreclosure.  Ryder could not comprehend this and he was hanging his head low, facing the corner of his kennel in despair.  Volunteers and staff are reassuring him and telling him that wonderful days of love and kindness are ahead.  Ryder is a Shepherd & Retriever mix, about 7 years of age, neutered, housetrained, and good with other dogs.  Please help find him a home where he will again experience joy and peace-of-mind.

I want to be your soul-mate.

Ryder is a hearty young boy with incredible intelligence and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is an especially handsome Australian Cattle Dog, 2 years of age, neutered, housetrained, and reportedly fine with cats and older kids.  Ryder likes most dogs, but his previous owner said he is afraid of dogs with Bully-like appearances because a Bully breed dog once "bit his leg off".  Ryder does not have a front left leg, but he is still very agile moves around extremely well on three legs.  Please ask for Ryder by name when you visit.
