Rufus loves playing fetch, especially with "Stars Wars" toys.    He is a Queensland Heeler with extraordinary good looks, 3 years young, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Rufus needs a hero. He reportedly gets nippy during seizures (and when being woken from nightmares). Rufus's veterinarian did not put him on anti-seizure medication but his seizures are not frequent. (We have seen no sign of seizure activity/epilepsy, but have no reason to doubt the information provided by his previous owners.) Rufus is uptight with change. We believe he will thrive best with routine, order, and stability.    Please share his picture and help find home someone wonderful.

Rufus loves to sneak doggie kisses on your chin and cheeks.  His expressive eyes reveal his character and he enjoys people and dogs and cats.  Rufus is a Shih-Tzu, 2 years young, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming for him.  Rufus needed us because his previous owner's declining health.

Rufus seems to understand that he is about to really find out what it feels like to finally be loved and adored.  This cheerful older boy was rescued from perhaps the busiest street in all of Las Vegas, and he was nearly crushed moments before his rescue.  His coat suggested years of improper nutrition, much less brushing, so it's clear that his neglect has been severe. Rufus is a Pomeranian mix, approximately 5-10 years of age (with severe neglect making it harder to pinpoint his likely age), neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Rufus loves dogs and gentle people.  We never want him failed again.  Please help him find someone who will cherish him and exceed his dreams.

Rufus is a jovial baby boy with a playful temperament.  He is a cute Siberian Husky puppy, 7 months young, neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Besides doing well with other dogs his size, he is reportedly great with children and housetrained too. Siberian Husky knowledge is preferred for his adoption.  Rufus did nothing wrong. His previous owners moved and opted not to take him.

Update: Rufus was adopted on February 4th! Can a living being be any cuter than Rufu s? This tiny puppy has a big personality, which has developed beautifully thanks to tender loving care in a foster home shortly after his rescue as a newborn. Rufus is a small Terrier & Toy mix, neutered male, about 4 months of age. In his foster home he was raised with other dogs. We would love for him to have the continued companionship of having another dog to bond with and play with in his new home. Rufus debuts for adoption today.
