Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

"Can you see the love in my eyes?" Rembrandt , 3 years young, is a tender-hearted boy asking for someone to devote himself to for life. He is a Chihuahua mix, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . We rescued Rembrandt from another shelter that asked for our help. He was trembling in fear. We don't know what traumas Rembrandt endured, he had to be confiscated by officers from his previous home (for reasons unknown). Rembrandt is a 6-pound Malti-Poo with a big personality. He adores people he trusts and likes to bark disapprovingly at strangers.  Rembrandt will continue to bloom in an experienced home with kind guidance and socialization. He is good with other dogs, about 4 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue Rembrandt was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his severely neglected condition. Special thanks to Hair of the Dog Spa for his handsome groom and haircut.

Update: Rembrandt was adopted on October 5th! Rembrandt is a masterpiece of heavenly innocence. He is loyal and affectionate and humble. Rembrandt is most likely a Terrier & Schnauzer mix. He is neutered and about 8 years of age. He likes other dogs, especially those with mild temperaments like his. Please plan on regular grooming care for him. We rescued Rembrandt after one of our staff witnessed him being abandoned by a man who tied him to a tree near a busy street and sped away. It is so sad and tragic that some people are incapable of recognizing and respecting the ocean of unconditional love offered by wonderful dogs like Rembrandt.
