Ranger

Ranger is an earnest baby boy longing to understand where he belongs and who he can love. He is a super sweet and cute Dachshund mix puppy, perhaps with Beagle, 6 months of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Ranger was abandoned in a family's backyard by an unknown person with no sign of responsible ownership.    Please visit and ask for Ranger by name.

Ranger loves bonding with kids and adults.  He is terrific with other dogs too, plus housetrained and amiable in temperament.  Ranger is an attractive blend of Yorkshire Terrier and other Terrier breeds, about 4 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Ranger needed us when his previous family moved into a home where dogs are not permitted.

Ranger likes showing you his favorite toys, chatting with you, and chasing the laser pointer.  He is a super cute junior kitten, a silver tabby medium-hair, 11 months of age, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.  Ranger enjoys other cats too.  We rescued him from a shelter that ceased its adoption program.  Please visit and ask for Ranger by name.

Ranger ensures no one around her experiences any loneliness.  She answers to her name, listens to you carefully, and meows in with her thoughts and feelings throughout your conversations.  Ranger wants to hear from you and expects you to listen and engage her in return.  Rub her ears and she is in heaven.  Ranger is a brown tabby with white, 7 years of age and spayed, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She needed us when her previous owners moved away and abandoned her.  Fortunately, neighbors stepped forward to get Ranger off of the streets and into safety.

Kindness is helping me heal and bloom.

We are so proud of Ranger's physical and emotional healing from abuse, as well as deeply grateful to the volunteers helping him understand that humans can be kind.  Ranger's right front leg was injured beyond repair at the time of rescue due to extreme trauma.  He has been adjusting well to life on three legs and he is ready to join a loving, stable, forever home.  Ranger is a super sweet Chihuahua mix, 2 years of age, good with other dogs, neutered, and available for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these cute portraits to help Ranger .

I just don't want to be hurt anymore.

Ranger's adjustment to life on three legs is much simpler than his recovery from cruelty and abuse.  We rescued this young boy from another shelter and extreme trauma had injured his right front leg beyond repair.  Ranger is worried that if he trusts the wrong person that he will become victimized by violence yet again.  But volunteers and staff are succeeding in helping him feel safe and he's beginning to bloom.  Ranger is an attractive Chihuahua mix, 2 years of age, neutered, very good with other dogs, and he is debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA and seeking a hero to help his emotional healing continue.

Be kind to me and I will bless you with unwavering, unconditional love.

Ranger is ready to believe in people again and just asks for patience and tenderness.  If you kneel down, he will gently approach you and accept your kindness and petting.  Ranger is 18 months young, a neutered boy, a very attractive American Bulldog & Bully mix, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued him from another shelter.  Ranger had old and fresh head wounds -- whether from human violence, canine attacks, or other causes is unknown -- but it's clear he had been enduring ongoing trauma.  Ranger needs to just see the best of human nature and human responsibility from now on.

The Rookie Puppies debut for adoption today!

Cavalier Celtic Ranger Wizard Cavalier , Celtic , Ranger , and Wizard are fun-loving, comical baby boys with tremendous enthusiasm and they are debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. The brothers are playful and intelligent.  An active lifestyle routine is likely best for them. We believe they are a blend of many breeds, Heinz 57s, including Border Collie, Heeler, and Shepherd.  They are now 3 months of age, neutered, and expected to grow to medium or large size. The boys have been loving socialized in a foster home since their rescue. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety. They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong companionship.
