Look whose eyes are now full of such hope! Pete is progressing beautifully, physically and emotionally. He no longer hangs his head in fear and overflows with joy when volunteers and staff take him out of his kennel for walks or playtime.    Pete is a young Mini Bully mix, 1 year of age and neutered, awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA . Please give him consideration.    Thank you to everyone who has helped him believe in human kindness.

Pete is most content curled up in your arms, hearing a soothing voice while being gently rubbed behind his ears.  He is a magnificent seal point Siamese, 2 years young and neutered, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Pete was abandoned at an animal hospital.  Please keep him always indoors, safe, and dearly loved.

Pete , 13 and deaf, is so spry and young-at-heart that you can see he still feels like a puppy on the inside.  He is a Cocker Spaniel, housetrained and crate-trained, good with dogs and kids, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Consistent hand signals, like thumbs up, are important for communication with him.  Pete needed us when his previous owners moved into an apartment that does not allow pets.  Please share Pete's post to help find him a hero.

Pete , his wounds now healed, is ready to let the world know what a happy and loving boy he can be! Pete is a jovial youngster with a terrific smile, an American Bulldog & Bully mix, 1 year of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He was found injured on the streets with wounds consistent from dog or coyote bites.    We believe Pete is crate-trained and may be compatible with some dogs.

Do sweet old boys like me have a chance for a new beginning too?

Update: Pete was adopted on February 24th! Little Pete , a devoted and distinguished senior Toy Poodle, seeks a calm and loving home for his twilight years. He is neutered, reportedly 11 years of age, and debuting for adoption today. Pete likes other friendly dogs and he needs regular grooming care. We rescued him from another shelter. His previous owner apparently had become too ill to care for him. Distressed by such a traumatic loss this late in life, he licked a small sore on his paw. (This was diagnosed as anxious licking and it is expected to diminish as he settles into a loving home environment again.) Please open your heart to little Pete . He is desperate for reassurance and affection .
