Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Amari Pamela Pandora Pamela and Pandora , and their mother, Amari , are Golden hamsters ready for adoption in the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA. The baby girls are 6 weeks of age and their mother is 1 year of age.  They were newborns when another shelter asked for our help. We placed Amari and her daughters in a loving home for nurturing care and socialization.  Amari is especially shy and afraid of being handled, so an experienced home is needed.  They can be adopted separately or together.

Pandora beams with good cheer and she's young-at-heart and ready for fun.    She is an intelligent Boxer mix, 9 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Pandora wholeheartedly loves people. She was at another shelter that asked for our help. Pandora will not tolerate dogs of any size or temperament. She likes to bolt out of doors and think it's exciting to escape, so an exceptionally secure home and yard is vital for her safety please.

Update: Pandora was adopted on February 2nd! Has Pandora ever really known a loving home before? We fear not. She has been the victim of substantial neglect and she has built up an emotional wall to protect herself from human indifference. But Pandora yearns for a gentle connection. As she awakens to the wonder of a world full of generosity and care, we know she will relax her guard and her personality will sail. She is a Shih-Tzu mix, spayed female, about 5 years of age, debuting for adoption today. Pandora was rescued after being thrown out on the streets. Pandora may do best with other dogs and please plan on regular grooming care for her (and budget accordingly).
