Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Newton , 11, a very social boy, is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. After his surrender this morning, we became very concerned with his emotional state. Newton wouldn't lift his head and couldn't stop crying. Our cat staff took him to the Cat Condos adoption area and he instantly perked up and he hasn't stopped smiling since! Newton is greeting everyone who walks in and following them around and helping them choose cats to meet and consider adopting. Newton is a Basset Hound, neutered, good with dogs and kids. We want to find him a home where, ideally, he is rarely alone and has the companionship of people, cats, and/or dogs.

Newton offers perfect love -- unconditional love -- and cannot understand why he is homeless for being too devoted.
