Missy

Missy is a down-to-earth girl with majestic, leonine appearance and poise.  She is likely a Keeshond & Chow Chow mix, 7 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Missy may be good with other dogs and older children (unconfirmed). At the time of rescue she was at another shelter that asked for our help due to a large mass on one of her front legs. We provided for Missy's operation to remove it and she has healed very well.  Please come meet this beautiful soul.

Missy treasures the quiet and peaceful moments close to people she is bonding with.  She is great with other cats and best suited for a calm home environment.  Missy has a beautiful spirit and she is 7 years of age, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She needed us due to her previous owners' allergies.

Missy was looking up at this morning for reassurance, wondering if her bath and haircut made her look okay.  At the time of rescue she was filthy (having lived solely outdoors in the dust) and matted, so there was no telling when she had last been cleaned.  We told Missy everyone can now see how beautiful she is and that a new home would surely be hers very soon.  We believe she is a Miniature Schnauzer & Lhasa-Poo mix, about 6 years of age, and great with other dogs.  Missy is now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Can I ask for your love?

Missy is a little angel and she is in heaven in your kind arms.  She is so agreeable and just wants to be loved and pampered.  Missy is a delightful Yorkshire Terrier mix, about 6 years of age, spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Missy from another shelter and her background is mostly unknown.  The veterinarian believes her blind left eye is the result of a birth defect.  Missy enjoys other sweet, calm dogs and she needs regular professional grooming.

Is there room in your family for me?

Update: Missy was adopted on December 24th! Missy likes resting and hiding in her cubby hole, but she bravely comes out to greet us and when we deliver her daily greens and veggies. She is fine with being held, as long as you are gentle and patient with her, and hold her for only short times. Missy is a beautiful American breed guinea pig with cocoa, orange, and white coloring, about 3 years of age. Despite being such a sweetheart and well-behaved, her previous owner no longer wanted her.  Like all animals, she deserves someone who will remain committed to her for her whole life. Missy is ready for adoption today in Nevada SPCA's Lovebug Room.

I love playing soccer!

Update: Missy was adopted on January 9th! Missy is a bubbly, energetic, intelligent puppy. She is a Heinz 57 with ice blue eyes, perhaps a Siberian Husky and/or Australian Shepherd mix. She is spayed, about 8 months young, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Missy craves playing with squeaky toys and tennis balls, and a game of soccer with kind, mature kids will elicit enormous joy. Though "pretty much" housetrained, she reportedly has occasional accidents, so keeping her on a steady lifestyle routine should help with the completion of housetraining. Please be sure to carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for Missy's safety and protection.

They say I am insanely adorable.

Update: Missy was adopted on November 9th! Missy is a bright-eyed puppy with exceptional potential. But according to her foster mom, she needs an enormous amount of patience and good guidance to help her with some unfortunate behaviors she has developed, including excessive yipping (barking) and housetraining accidents. Missy is a Yorkshire Terrier mix, spayed female, about 10 months of age. While she is reportedly crate-trained, she needs to start from scratch with housetraining, beginning with a stable routine she can count on. Missy enjoys other dogs, and she is reportedly fine with cats too. We prefer an adult-only home for her due to a claim that she may nip if handled incorrectly. (We do not have the details on this incident and we have not witnessed any nipping here.) Please be sure to budget extra for regular grooming care. Missy debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
