Midnight, Noche, and Pumpkin

Image
Midnight, baby boy. Noche, baby girl. Pumpkin, baby boy. Midnight , Noche , and Pumpkin have been very lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home since their rescue.  The babies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Midnight adores other cats and needs a calm home environment with adults. Children and strangers frighten him. He has extra toes (polydactyl), which help him bat at his toys during playtime. Noche's favored activities include chasing toy balls with jingle bells inside or sitting in your lap for petting. She loves exploring new rooms and enjoys other cats. Pumpkin is very social and may follow you around the house to be in your presence. He is a remarkable athlete and can jump to places you'd never consider, so carefully kitten-proofing your home is of special importance.

Please see the joy, love, and grace in our eyes.

Midnight & Smokey , beautifully photographed by Pet'ographique .  These "Golden Girls" have the cheerful innocence of puppies and we are so eager for them to find a loving home where they can remain together forever.  Midnight & Smokey are soul-mates, girls of 11-12 years of age, spayed, rescued from another shelter.

Angels with wagging tails instead of wings, and they need a hero.

Please help us find a hero for these angels.  At 11 and 12 years of age, Smokey & Midnight had been discarded at a government-funded shelter where they did not qualify for adoption.  We rescued them and brought them into the safety of Nevada SPCA.  Despite what they have endured, both girls maintain optimistic personalities, always ready to share their bright smiles.  And they love the world since they get to remain together, soul-mates to the end.  Smokey is a Dachshund mix and Midnight is a Labrador Retriever.  With hearts of pure gold, they will surprise you with all of the unconditional love they have to bless you with today.

I yearn to live indoors with you and feel like part of the family.

Update: Midnight was adopted on November 22nd! We can only imagine Midnight's confusion at being banished to live outdoors, trying to peer in windows at his loved ones indoors who he ached to be with. He will be overjoyed to be in a loving home where he has indoor access. Midnight is a sweet young giant with a friendly, cheery nature. He is a Great Dane mix, neutered male, about 2 years of age.  He is good with other large dogs (no small animals) and he is reportedly good with mature, older kids. Midnight is eager to please, so we believe he will pick up housetraining quickly if you are patient with him and provide positive guidance and a steady lifestyle routine.
