Katie seems shocked to hear praise. She looks around to see if you are really praising someone else. When she realizes the kind words are intended for her, she slowly steps forward and edges her way toward your lap for a cuddle. Katie is shy and lovable, a medium-size Heinz 57 with Shepherd, 9 years of age, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    She is 1 of 33 animals rescued so far from a collapsed animal organization in northern Arizona and her background is otherwise unknown. Katie has enormous loving potential. Please share her picture to help find her someone understanding and comforting.

Katie's eyes sparkle when you tell her she's adorable.  She is a dainty junior puppy, a Toy mix, 9 months of age and spayed, housetrained, good with other dogs and older kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Katie needed us when her previous owners moved into a residence where pets are not allowed.  Please visit and ask for her by name.

Update: Katie was adopted on March 4th! Katie is a classy young sweetheart ready to embrace a loving home with her whole heart. She is a gorgeous Pug, spayed female, approximately 18 months of age. Katie enjoys other dogs. We believe she will do best in a home with another dog (or dogs). She was rescued from a breeding kennel. Denied a nurturing environment, she was exploited to breed puppies for sale to pet stores. So Katie will need your great patience and good guidance to complete housetraining and adjust to living predominantly indoors as a cherished member of the family. Pug knowledge and/or experience is strongly preferred for her adoption. Katie debuts for adoption today.
