Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Josephine and 40 more rescued kittens need foster heroes! The foster commitments range from a couple weeks to a couple months. Please visit Nevada SPCA and Lauren can work with you on fostering kittens within the time-frame you have available. Josephine , 6 weeks of age, blind in her right eye (birth defect or injury), was found in distress without her mother. A nursing rescued cat named Helga accepted Josephine and began mothering her.

Thank you to Wendy, Josephine's new mom, for these great pictures and this update: "Just wanted to let you know how wonderful things have gone with Josephine. She has made herself pretty comfortable and likes us to take her on lots of walks!!! She is an awesome dog and we love her very much!!! Thanks for the great work you do giving these animals second chances."

Amy Elizabeth Josephine Margaret Amy , Elizabeth , Josephine , and Margaret are precious, huggable baby sisters debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. The girls are named after the sisters in the classic novel and movie "Little Women". Their previous owners said their mother is an English Mastiff and their father is a Neapolitan Mastiff.  We rescued the girls and, in turn, they fixed the parents so there would be no further breeding. The puppies are now 3 months of age and spayed.  They will almost certainly grow to very large size, so please plan and budget accordingly. The girls can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship.
