Eilene Joanie Raquel Eileen , Joanie , and Raquel are three of the five pregnant girls rescued yesterday who need gentle foster homes please. All five were confiscated from a breeder. They are very bashful and we suspect they have lived their entire lives as "breeding machines" and been denied a loving home environment. You may recall Joanie from earlier this year, a deaf young mother and her 5 newborns found abandoned in a vacated house.  Joanie , a small Border Collie and Cocker Spaniel mix, 2 years of age, is now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Her babies are doing beautifully and will remain in a loving foster home until they are ready for their spay/neuter surgeries.  Joanie is exceptionally kind and humble.  Please use consistent hand signals and other body language to communicate with her, as well as take thorough safety precautions for her throughout your home and yard.  Please share this angel's pictures to help her find a forever home.

We think Joanie's lopsided grin (a birth defect) helps express her very fun-loving nature. This beautiful young girl has so much joy and she wants everyone around her to be happy too.  Joanie wags her tail in circle O's and you can't help but smile at the uniqueness of this wonderful girl. Joanie is a medium-size Boxer & Bully mix, 2 years of age, spayed, and available for adoption at Nevada SPCA. She loves to play and be at your side, and she may be fine with some dogs. Joanie has a sparkling personality and infinite enthusiasm to share with you.  She is a Bully & Boxer mix pup, spayed, 11 months of age, compatible with most dogs, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Presumably due to a birth defect, Joanie's nose and jaw slant in opposite directions.  But all indications are this is just cosmetic, as she eats and uses her mouth and nose normally, and this just gives her big, exuberant grins. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety and protection.
