Jewels , a sparkling treasure, hopes you will let her bless you with her unconditional devotion.    She is a beautiful spirit, a well-behaved Heinz 57 with Shepherd (and possibly Rottweiler), 7 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Jewels is great with cats, dogs, and kids. She needed us when her previous owner became homeless.

Update: Jewels was adopted on October 14th! Jewels is aptly named due to her sparkling personality. She is a lovely Chihuahua puppy debuting for adoption today.  She is spayed, about 7 months of age, and best suited for a gentle home. Jewels loves being the center of attention and being fussed over. While she may tolerate a very calm, respectful dog, most dogs are too rowdy for her and frighten her. Please be sure to carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety and protection. Jewels needed us because her previous owner said he "worked too much" to keep her.

Update: Jewels was adopted on January 9th! Jewels is indeed a sparkling, priceless gem. She loves belly rubs, cuddling, and playing fetch. Jewels is a beautiful Bully mix with soft eyes and the cutest, roundest head. She is spayed and about a year of age. She is adjusting quite well to life on three legs. At the time of rescue Jewels' left rear leg was crushed and beyond repair. We rushed her into emergency medical care at a veterinary hospital and the leg was amputated. Cheery and loving, Jewels seems not to fret for an instant about losing a limb. She is grateful to be alive and getting care, living in the moment, and hopeful for a wondrous future in a forever home.
