Janet is learning that humans can be kind and nurturing. She now enjoys being around people, but she is still terrified of being picked up. Janet is an American bunny, 2 years of age and spayed, and ready for adoption in the Lovebug Room at Nevada SPCA . She was captured on a college campus, which is known for being a tragic dumping ground for "unwanted" rabbits. ( Janet and other domesticated bunnies completely rely on humans for survival and usually perish when cruelly left to fend for themselves.)

Janet's world revolves around interacting with people.    She plays with her toys, but only if you are watching and encouraging her, and she likes to talk with you the whole time to make sure you are part of the fun. Janet's regal appearance is due in part to the silver smoke tipping of her coat. She is 1 year of age, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Janet wants a one-cat household where she doesn't have to share humans with any other cats.    Please visit and ask for Janet by name.

Alex Janet Mary Beth Savannah Wyland These 5 zany little angels -- Alex , Janet , Mary Beth , Savannah , and Wyland -- debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  All are playful and affectionate, small Heinz 57s (cute blends of Terrier, Chihuahua, and other breeds), now 3 months of age, and spayed/neutered.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety. Alex and Wyland are boys.  Janet , Mary Beth , and Savannah are girls.  They were found motherless in the backyard of an abandoned house.  Please consider adopting a pair for lifetime companionship.
