Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Jamie, so fortunate to be alive and thriving, is ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. A couple hiking in the desert were surprised to find her. She came directly to them pleading for help. Jamie had multiple puncture wounds on her face and body, along with hair loss, consistent with fighting off animals attacking her. Jamie wants only the peaceful life, indoors, from now on. She is gentle and humble, a torbie shorthair, 4 years of age and spayed, and fine with other calm cats.

Update: Jamie was adopted on February 8th! When we need to test a dog for compatibility with cats, Jamie is our eager volunteer.  We read his body language as he assesses the dogs and this helps us determine which dogs are safe to be adopted into households with felines. Big or small, he adores canines.   If they are friendly he will mark them with his whiskers and cheeks and flop on his back and paw at them to initiate gentle play. Jamie is good with cats too, and deeply loves people, yet the months have rolled by without finding him a forever home.  Please give this handsome boy a second look.
