Harris

Image
Harris on Independence Day showing how beautifully he is improving with trust and emotional development. Harris is 1 of the 33 dogs rescued March 1. They had been confiscated from an owner convicted of animal cruelty. Thanks to dedicated volunteers and staff, Harris has discovered the joy of the belly rub. He's in heaven laying in your lap and falling asleep. Harris is a medium-size blend of many breeds, including Whippet & Bully & Weimaraner, 3 years young, neutered, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA. Uplifting, 2-minute video on the healing of the 33 dogs, including Harris.

Amethyst, Garnet, Pearl & Steven

Image
Amethyst Garnet Pearl Steven Amethyst , Garnet , and Pearl , and their brother Steven , debut for adoption on Independence Day at 10am at Nevada SPCA.  Since their rescue from a parking lot, the babies have been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home.  Their foster mom, Mel, took these terrific pictures and described them as follows: Amethyst is the wise one who lets the others get into adventures or trouble first, Garnet purrs day & night when playing or sleeping, Pearl is so loving she does 'happy feet' for hours at a time, and Steven is the athlete who chases and catches all of the toys.  The kittens are now 3 months of age and spayed/neutered.  Please consider adopting a pair for lifetime love and companionship.
