Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Harley , a huggable and lovable youngster, debuts for adoption this afternoon at Nevada SPCA.  He is an English Bulldog, 2 years of age, neutered boy, housetrained, good with dogs and older kids.  Harley needed us because of his previous owner's severe injury and incapacitation.  Bulldog knowledge needed for his adoption.

Harley pleads for a loving home.  His previous owner died (and the person who inherited him was unable to keep him).  Harley is an endearing little gentleman, a Miniature Pinscher, about 8 years of age, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Harley is terrific with other dogs and he is reportedly compatible with cats and older kids too.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these remarkable new portraits to help Harley .

Harley gives us this heart-melting look and we just want to give him all of the love and security he deserves.  His eyes plead for love.  Harley is an attractive Dachshund mix debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is 3 years young, neutered, housetrained, good with dogs, and enjoys playing ball.  Harley needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Pet'ographique perfectly captures Harley's comical personality in these incredible portraits!  Harley is a good-looking young guinea pig debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Harley is a boy, about 10 months of age, and you can ask for him by name in the Lovebugs Room.

Update: Harley was adopted on September 23rd! Volunteers and staff agree that Harley is one of the most handsome Basset Hounds we can remember seeing. He is friendly too, though equipped better for a gentle lifestyle. New people, especially adult men, make him anxious, though he warms up brilliantly with those he knows and trusts. Harley is a tri-color, 4 years of age, and debuting for adoption today. Basset Hound knowledge and/or experience is strongly preferred, particularly due to the ear-cleaning needs of this breed. Besides being good with other dogs, he is reportedly housetrained and compatible with cats. Harley needed us when his previous owner was cited for having too many dogs.

Update: Harley was adopted on September 25th! Like so many other innocent companion animals, especially the past two years, Harley is a victim of the home foreclosure crisis. He does not understand why he lost his home and family. But he is a noble boy and he has tremendous loving potential. He is reportedly housetrained and fine with older, mature kids. Harley's previous owners said he cannot be around small animals, but he is fine with some larger dogs. In addition, they said he is nervous around adult men who he does not yet know or trust. Saint Bernard knowledge and/or experience is required for Harley's adoption.

Update: Harley was adopted on July 10th! Like so many of the other puppies and animals featured on this site, Harley was in grave danger and had almost nowhere to go to find hope. Harley was sick with the deadly parvo virus and his previous owner was unwilling or unable to provide the emergency medical care needed to save his life. We rescued him, and after extensive medical treatment, he made a full, valiant recovery. Harley is a zany, fun-loving, and intelligent puppy. He is an Australian Cattle Dog with stunning coloring. He is neutered, 3 months young, and debuting for adoption today. Harley likes other playful dogs and he needs an active lifestyle with plenty of walks and playtime sessions.

Update: Harley was adopted on July 5th! Harley is a super playful, athletic, fun-loving, and curious youngster debuting today for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He is a handsome Chocolate Labrador Retriever, neutered male, 3 years young. Harley is reportedly housetrained and used to living predominantly indoors. We rescued Harley from another shelter. His previous owner gave no reason for surrendering him there. We believe he will do best with dog obedience training. This will help channel his high energy levels into good behaviors. Please visit and ask to spend time with Harley in our courtyard.

Harley is a very lovable, dashingly handsome boy ready for adoption today. He is a Snowshoe mix with patches of dark and milk chocolate that make his blue eyes shine. He is neutered and approximately 5 years of age. Harley needed us when his previous owner died. He was originally taken to a government shelter, but then friends of the deceased rescued him from there and brought him to us. He reportedly has no bad habits and enjoys your gentle company. He springs to life for organic catnip. Harley is one of 200 rescued, spayed/neutered cats for adoption in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms. All await adoption into loving, indoor-only, forever homes.

Update: Harley was adopted on January 29th! Harley is a zany, outgoing, friendly, and handsome young boy. He is most likely a Shepherd & Shiba Inu mix. He is medium-sized, neutered, and just a year of age. Harley needed us because his previous family's living situation was restricted to companion animals under 25 pounds. He is full of love, compatible with cats & dogs & kind children, plus housetrained & crate-trained too. Harley debuts for adoption today.
