Prince Charming , 9, a 123-pound loverboy, would love to be your devoted companion and newest family member.  He is a kind blend of Great Dane, Hound, and Labrador Retriever, neutered, good with other large and friendly dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Prince Charming from another shelter.  Please help find him someone wonderful!

Kevin longs for approval. Once assured you like him, he shines and his heart fills with relief. Kevin is an 85-pound sweetheart, a unique Heinz 57 with Great Dane and many other breeds, 1 year young, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help because he appears to require a one-dog household.

Ryker is a sensitive young boy who becomes very devoted to the people he bonds with.    He is a stunning Great Dane, 2 years of age, housetrained, good with older kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Ryker has two special needs at the moment. First, he doesn't seem to know that he is 100 pounds and intimidating. When he sees someone with a treat he becomes very boisterous. Second, he is wary of strangers and doesn't instantly accept new people. Ryker likes trust to be earned.    So he needs a very experienced owner please with Great Dane knowledge please. Ryker needed us when his previous owners moved overseas.

Matilda likes playing hide-and-week and resting on her favorite cozy blankets.  She is a tender-hearted, 150-pound sweetheart, a Great Dane, 4 years of age and spayed, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Matilda is housetrained and compatible with cats and older kids, but other dogs agitate her and she likely requires a one-dog household.  Great Dane knowledge is very important for her adoption please.  Matilda needed us because her previous owner believed she was allergic to her.  Please visit and ask for Matilda by name.

Tabitha is a majestic, 105-pound Great Dane who likes bonding with women and she gets along beautifully with the dogs we have introduced her to so far.    She is 3 years of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.     We rescued Tabitha from another shelter to help with her timidity toward men. She is wary of men to the point we suspect she has witnessed domestic violence or been the direct victim of cruelty and abuse.    Tabitha has enormous loving potential and we she needs an experienced home where she can come to realize that everyone around her loves her and intends her no harm.

Roland is an extra large, extra sweet senior who needs a loving home for his twilight years.  He is 11 years, but looks and acts half his age.  Roland is a Great Dane & Rottweiler mix, neutered boy, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued him from another shelter.  Please ask for Roland by name when you visit.

Pee Wee is a huge, lovable sweetheart debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Great Dane & Mastiff mix, about 6 years of age and now neutered.  Large dog experience is preferred for his adoption. Pee Wee likes to play ball and he is reportedly compatible with older kids and large female dogs.  (He reportedly did not get along with male dogs, but that was before he was neutered.)  Pee Wee is good-natured, blessed with a sweet soul.

Rainstorm is a beautiful, pensive girl who longs for stability.  She is a Great Dane, 105 pounds, spayed, 5 years of age, and now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Rainstorm is reportedly good with many dogs and housetrained and crate-trained.  She loves going on walks.  She lost her previous home because she was not good with the family's youngest child.  Great Dane knowledge is strongly preferred for Rainstorm's adoption. 

M & M is a baby Great Dane, sweet as candy, very lovable, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . He is about 6 months of age, neutered, and growing to very large size. His previous owner purchased him from a pet store but quickly became overwhelmed with his energy level and surrendered him to Nevada SPCA two days later. M & M needs an experienced, knowledgeable home and kind guidance to learn to adjust to a home environment.

Soldier Diesel Update: Soldier & Diesel were adopted together on February 12th! Soldier & Diesel are huge, strongly-bonded boys, soul-mates who get upset if they are separated. They need a forever home where they can continue to be together.  Their previous owners moved away and could not take them. Soldier & Diesel are Great Danes.  Both boys are neutered and reportedly housetrained and compatible with some dogs and older, mature kids.  Soldier is 3 years of age with black and white coloring.  Diesel is 2 years of age with harlequin coloring. Despite their tremendous size, both boys need more self-esteem and socialization.   They are very shy with new people and new situations.  Also, both are reportedly fearful of trash trucks. Great Dane knowledge and/or experience is needed for their adoption.

Update: Midnight was adopted on November 22nd! We can only imagine Midnight's confusion at being banished to live outdoors, trying to peer in windows at his loved ones indoors who he ached to be with. He will be overjoyed to be in a loving home where he has indoor access. Midnight is a sweet young giant with a friendly, cheery nature. He is a Great Dane mix, neutered male, about 2 years of age.  He is good with other large dogs (no small animals) and he is reportedly good with mature, older kids. Midnight is eager to please, so we believe he will pick up housetraining quickly if you are patient with him and provide positive guidance and a steady lifestyle routine.

Update: Bubba was adopted on August 23rd! Bubba is a giant lovebug. He is a social boy who enjoys being with you as much as possible. Bubba is a Great Dane, neutered male, coming up on 6 years of age, and he debuts for adoption today. He needed us when his previous owners moved to a home that did not allow him. Bubba is generally well-behaved, being compatible with cats and children, plus housetrained too. He reportedly will occasionally sneak food off of the counters. Great Dane knowledge and/or experience is needed for his adoption.
