Bam Bam and Fred

Image
Bam Bam Bam Bam would love to be another cat's baby brother. His favored activities include making "happy feet" on blankets while he's resting or chasing toys with bells inside them. Bam Bam is now 3 months of age, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue he was found on the grounds of an apartment complex without a mother. He and his brother, Fred (see Fred's picture in Comments), were brought to Nevada SPCA to escape the maintenance worker who was planning to "destroy" them. Since their rescues, the boys have been lovingly raised and socialized in a wonderful foster home. Both are bashful, but warm nicely to gentle people. Fred

Dozens of fragile lives need nurturing foster care please.

Fred and George and 29 more rescued motherless kittens need loving foster homes for nurturing care and socialization. Also today, a mother cat and her 6 newborns were rescued and need foster care too. We expect many more kittens to be rescued tomorrow too. Please help by sharing the post or visiting Nevada SPCA in person. The foster commitments range from 2 weeks to 3 months, depending on which ones you can help. Fred and George are brothers, 3 weeks of age, found alone outdoors without their mother. They need bottle-feeding and at the earliest stages of learning to eat on their own.

Fred , 9, a very thoughtful and kind Basset Hound, enjoys cats, dogs and kids of all ages. He is housetrained and crate-trained too. Fred needed us due to his previous owner's financial hardship and he is recovering from neglect (ear infections, likely malnourishment, more).    He enjoys cuddling and he is neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Fred & Max

Fred Max and Fred We rescued these two heavenly boys from another shelter.  Fred and Max are both regal, radiant German Shepherds, neutered, about 8 years of age.  They had landed in a government-funded shelter when their previous owners reportedly lost the family home to foreclosure. Both boys are now safe.  Fred is debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Because they adore each other so much, we wanted to keep them together forever.  But Max has a torn ACL and we are having advanced medical care provided to save his leg, courtesy of a wonderful and very generous donor. Perhaps the boys will be reunited again when Max has made a full recovery from his surgery.  We will urge whoever adopts Fred to try and keep an open mind on this.

Will anyone love an old boy like me?

Update: Fred was adopted on December 13th! Fred is confused and distraught over losing his home when his previous owners divorced. But he is a sweet, gentle boy and we are doing all we can to ease his despair and give him hope. Fred is a senior, about 9 or 10 years of age, a medium-size Shepherd mix, neutered male, debuting for adoption today. He is compatible with cats and kind children.  He is also reportedly housetrained (with a doggie door). Strange men make him nervous, as do boisterous or intense dogs reportedly due to previous dog attacks that terrorized him. Fred needs someone who understands and empathizes with what he is going through.  With patience, he will come to realize that a good life can begin anew.
