15 zebra finches for adoption!

Image
15 zebra finches -- including Julie , Prince , and Darla -- need loving, responsible, forever homes please.  The birds are very social and need to be adopted in pairs (or larger groups) for lifelong companionship and emotional well-being.  Please visit Nevada SPCA to meet and adopt them.  The birds were surrendered by their previous owner, who is moving out of the country.

Apple & her daughters

Annalee Apple Darla Apple , a young and demure Poodle mix, was homeless and pregnant when her previous owners moved away without her.    In February she gave birth to two girls, Annalee and Darla . Their father is unknown, but suspected of being an Italian Greyhound.    Apple and her daughters are now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Apple (1 year of age) has a lovely spirit and Annalee and Darla (4 months of age) are affectionate and playful.

Can you find someone to love me?

How can Travis , a 2-year-old youngster, look so weathered far beyond his years?  The veterinarians believe it's the result of severe skin burns (especially on his nose, ears, tail) and insect bites, painting a picture of a loveless home where he was stuck outdoors without shelter.  Travis is tiny, just 7 pounds, and he still believes in people and begs for kindness.  He is an adorable Chihuahua, a neutered boy, great with other dogs, debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please help us find a hero for Travis .  His skin is healing and he's very eager to know what a loving home feels like.

Adopt me and I will bring sunshine into your heart.

Update: Darla was adopted on October 8th! Darla is a radiant puppy with an angelic personality and easy smile. She has a Shepherd-like appearance, but she is quite small, even at 8 months of age. So we believe she is one of those fantastic, though common, blessings -- a mixed breed dog who turns out better than ever! Darla is spayed and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She is compatible with other dogs. Please bring your dog here to meet her in our courtyard to ensure she will be a wonderful match with your whole family. We rescued Darla from another shelter when she ran out of time there.
