Cosmo beams when you tell him it's time to go for a walk.    He is reportedly a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & Shih-Tzu mix, 6 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Cosmo is improving emotionally every day. He is recovering from cruelty and worries that strangers intend to harm him. An experienced, adult-only home is needed for his continuing progress so he can reach his full loving potential.

Belle Cosmo Thumbelina 25 rescued kittens are ready for adoption right now, including Thumbelina , Cosmo , and Belle , at Nevada SPCA! This trio has been raised and socialized in a wonderful foster home with cats, dogs, and guinea pigs. They are now 3 months of age and spayed/neutered.    Cosmo is the most adventurous and rambunctious.    His sisters prefer cuddling and belly rubs.    Thumbelina has extra toes (polydactyly) that help her give you warm hugs.

Update: Cosmo was adopted on October 1st! This little angel has triumphantly survived steep obstacles to make it to this special day -- his debut adoption day. Besides being homeless at such a tender age, Cosmo was ill with the deadly parvo virus at the time of rescue.  We had extensive medical care provided for him at a veterinary hospital and he fortunately made a valiant, full recovery. He is Heinz 57 with Schnauzer, neutered, approximately 3 months of age, expected to remain small or grow to medium size at most. Cosmo needed us when his previous owner became terminally ill. He is a gentle boy who loves cuddling and soaking up adoration. Cosmo is a Ragdoll mix with lovely blue eyes. He is neutered and about 8 years of age and declawed on all four feet. While Cosmo is respectful of other cats, he may be best as the only cat in the home. Please plan on regular brushing and grooming for his beautiful coat. Cosmo is in foster care, but available for adoption on Saturdays at Nevada SPCA. Please visit and ask for him in the lobby. Like all cats, he needs and deserves an indoor-only home for his safety and protection.
