Claudia , 18, treasures peaceful moments and tender touches.  She is gentle and beautiful soul, a tortie point Siamese, spayed, fine with other cats, previously declawed, and awaiting a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Claudia was surrendered by her previous owners when relatives allergic to cats joined their household.  Please share Claudia's picture and help find her someone wonderful.

Carolyn Claudia Pluto Carolyn , Pluto , and Claudia are 3 of the 20 rescued motherless kittens who need foster homes so far today. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Carolyn and her siblings were found on the streets with eye infections. They are 10 weeks of age and healing very well. Pluto and his brother were rescued from another shelter that needed our help. They need a foster home for socialization and care for only 3 weeks. Claudia and her siblings also need a foster home for only 3 weeks of socialization and care. They were unwanted by their previous owners. Please share the kittens' post to help. Thank you.

Kindness is so powerful it can help heal the worst cruelty.

Claudia is now a radiant girl, a junior puppy, enjoying people and other dogs.  She is unrecognizable today from the time of her rescue a few months ago when she was cowering and growling, head to the ground, found abused and abandoned on the mean streets.  Special thanks to volunteers dedicating their time and patience for Claudia and the others who must be shown that humans are capable of compassion.  Claudia is an golden Heinz 57, just 29 pounds, most likely a blend of Italian Greyhound or Whippet.  She is 11 months of age, spayed, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Tender loving care has helped me feel like a princess.

This angel was roaming the streets, starving, apparently on her own for some time due to her extremely emaciated condition at the time of rescue.  She was terrified and it looked like we could see every bone in her fragile body. We named her Claudia and placed her in a very loving foster home for the best of care.  Her foster mom cooked special meals for her and supplemented them with a vitamin gel that contains additional calories. As the weeks went by and she regained weight and energy, her personality began to blossom too, and she went from sulking and crawling to prancing around the house and engaging the other dogs there.   She also enjoys crawling under the covers and snuggling. Claudia is still timid with strangers, but very warm-hearted with those she knows and trusts. Today, she is ready for adoption into a forever home.  Claudia is a petite, lovely Chihuahua, spayed, about one year of age.  She ...
