Every day is so precious. We are especially reminded of this when those we love may have shortened lifespans. Mia , a tiny lovebug puppy, weighing only 4 pounds, 8 months of age, loves being held and reassured. Talk sweet and she will lay her head against your neck and chest.    She is a Chihuahua, good with cats and dogs, and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA . Mia was born with a mild case of hydrocephalus (neurological disorder in which excess cerebrospinal fluid accumulates in the brain). She may live without suffering for many years, or for just several months, as her veterinarians cannot predict her future well-being.    Please help us find a hero to cheerfully shower Mia with love and adoration for however many days/weeks/months/years she has to grace us with.

Nala , a junior puppy, bonds very strongly with the people she trusts. She kisses them and stares at them with adoration. She is bashful with strangers and needs to continue building self-esteem and confidence. Nala is 10 months of age, an attractive Chihuahua, spayed, crate-trained, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. Nala needed us when her previous owner suffered a severe stroke and was rendered unable to care for her.

Baby Andre , pictured here, was rescued from the Vegas streets where he was on his own and in peril, with no sign whatsoever of responsible ownership.  He is a super cute Chihuahua puppy, about 8 weeks of age.  Baby Andre is so grateful for kindness that he will shower your face with puppy kisses when you talk sweetly.  Baby Andre needs loving foster care and socialization for approximately 4-6 weeks until he is old enough to be neutered and prepared for adoption.

At the time of rescue Lonnie was only four weeks of age and someone was trying to sell him in front of a grocery store (at an age way too young to be separated from his mom).  Since then he has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home with cats, dogs, rabbits, and other species.  Lonnie is an adorable chocolate & cream Chihuahua puppy, now 3 months of age and neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please give him kind guidance and a stable lifestyle routine.

Twiggy is a tiny baby girl with a very endearing spirit.  At the time of rescue she was at another shelter with small head wounds from an unknown origin and we were asked to help.  Twiggy's wounds are healing well and she is now debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Chihuahua puppy, about 4 months of age and spayed.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.  Twiggy loves gentle people and sweet dogs.  Please give her kind guidance, basic training, and a stable lifestyle routine.

Lucinda is a tender-hearted pup debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  With gentle reassurance, building self-esteem in a stable and compassionate home, she will bloom beautifully.  The world seems like a pretty scary place to Lucinda .  She was rescued near a very busy Las Vegas intersection.  Lucinda is a dainty, pretty Chihuahua, 10 months of age, now spayed, and good with other calm and sweet dogs.  Please help us find her a forever home where she can reach her full loving potential.
