Brownie dreams of a forever home.

Image
Brownie is a dapper little gentleman who longs for a loving, forever home.  Pet'ographique took these terrific portraits to help showcase his sweet nature and get him adopted.  Brownie is an earnest Chihuahua mix, neutered boy, 5 years of age, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He needed us when his previous owners moved out of the country.

I am a little girl. I am not an "it."

Update: Brownie was adopted on November 18th! Brownie is a Teacup Chihuahua, a bashful girl with a gentle spirit.  She gives kisses to soft-spoken people she knows and trusts. She needed us when her previous owner claimed she "cannot keep it anymore."  Her body indicates she was used repeatedly for breeding.  We had Brownie spayed and micro-chipped, and vaccinated, and she is now debuting for adoption today.  She is approximately 5 years of age, and missing bottom front teeth so her tongue often slides out of her mouth a bit. She will do best in a calm home where she is adored and cherished every day.   She is compatible with other dogs and older children, and reportedly housetrained if given enough opportunities to go outside. Please visit and ask for Brownie by name.

Adopt me and I will fill your heart with joy.

Brownie's fun-loving attitude about life is contagious. We smile every time we see this bouncy, wiggly boy who has such a sunny demeanor. He is a Puggle (Pug & Beagle), neutered, 5 years of age, and debuting for adoption today. Brownie enjoys other dogs and reportedly loves kind children too.  He is reported to be housetrained and crate-trained. He needed us due to his previous owners' financial hardship.

Why did they think I was unable to travel too?

Update: Brownie was adopted on October 20th! Brownie is confused why he lost his home and family. He watched his previous owners pack up utensils, books, furniture, pictures and other inanimate objects to take with them for their big move, but then he was taken to a government shelter. We rescued him from there, and today, he debuts for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Brownie is an energetic, very lovable young boy. He is most likely a Terrier & Toy mix. He is neutered and approximately 18 months of age. Besides being good with other dogs, Brownie is reportedly housetrained and compatible with kind children. Please plan on regular grooming care for him.

Will you please help me gain self-esteem?

Update: Brownie was adopted on September 6th! Brownie was not socialized well when very young, so he needs special help now in building confidence so that new people and new situations are not so frightening. He is an exceptionally cute Shepherd mix, neutered male, about 6 months of age, expected to grow to medium or large size. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety and protection. Brownie likes other dogs, and having a 'big sister' or 'big brother' dog may help him with adjustments. He needed us due to his previous owner's financial hardship. Brownie debuts for adoption today.

My sister and I can shower you with daily sunshine.

Cinnamon and her sister (Brownie) are " The Golden Girl Puppie s" and they are debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. These two are lively, affectionate, and exceedingly gorgeous girls with sunny personalities. Cinnamon & Brownie are most likely Australian Shepherd mixes, a breed known for great intelligence and cunning. So herding dog knowledge and/or experience is preferred. They are both spayed, of course, and approximately 6 months of age. We believe they will remain medium-sized. Cinnamon & Brownie can be adopted separately, but preference is given to keeping them together for lifelong love & companionship. They are pure gold together! (We are reducing their adoption fees if they are adopted as a pair.)
