Bart asks for a hero.

Image
Bart , a baby boy with outstanding charisma, loves giving people hugs and perching on their shoulders.    He adores dogs too and crawls all over them to find great places to nap. Bart needs a hero please. He was found on the streets with FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) and then raised in a wonderful foster home.    Bart is now neutered and ready for a special needs adoption at Nevada SPCA .    He requires a home without other cats.

Bart Theodore Chrysantha & babies 20 rescued motherless kittens -- including Bart and Theodore -- and Chrysantha & her 8 newborn puppies need foster heroes today please! If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person. Chrysantha ("golden flower") and her pups were rescued from another shelter. She is an exceptional mother and counts and kisses her babies every few minutes to make sure all are thriving. Chrysantha is a beautiful soul, a Kelpie & Queensland Heeler mix, medium-size, about 3 years of age. Bart , 5 weeks of age, and his siblings were found in a backyard without a mother. They need foster care for approximately 2 months. Theodore , 9 weeks of age, purrs when you hold him gently. He was at another shelter that asked for our help. He needs a foster home for just 3 weeks. Please share the animals' post to help. Thank you!

Bart, Herman, and Paris need foster heroes!

Image
30 rescued motherless kittens need foster heroes today, including Paris , Bart , and Herman , who were each saved from imminent peril -- from a car, sewer drain, and dog. If you can foster, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Joellyn. Paris , a 6-week-old baby girl, was caught after nearly being struck by a car in front of a motel. Bart , a 5-week baby boy, was captured in a sewer drain and he was wet with debris. Herman , a 12-week baby boy, was found in a family's backyard and their dog almost captured him first. Please share their pictures to help find heroes. Thank you!

What does really being loved feel like?

Image
Bart is now glowing and shining, so full of optimism that he will finally get to know what a loving home feels like.  He is a Bichon Frise & Poodle mix, neutered boy, 5 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Bart was a filthy, matted mess at the time of rescue, but that neglectful past was shaved away when we had him cleaned and groomed.  Bart enjoys other dogs and needs regular professional grooming.  An adult-only home is strongly preferred.  He is very anxious about being picked up and still recovering emotionally from years of severe neglect.
