Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Barnaby's extreme distress and despair has been replaced with enormous hope.    He loves people, he is adjusting very well to life on three legs, and he is eager to belong to a new family. Barnaby is an 11-year-old Boxer, neutered, good with other dogs, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue, we captured Barnaby in a desert wash. He was limping in excruciating pain from a crushed leg (presumably run over by a truck).

Barnaby doesn't seem to know he weighs 85 pounds or that he's no longer a puppy. We hope he never loses his innocence and enthusiasm. Barnaby is most likely a Briard mix (though we had much debate about his breed make-up) and he is 2 years young, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He enjoys other dogs, but he may be too energetic and overwhelming for small dogs or young children. We shaved his neglected coat, which was long, thick, and matted.  Please plan for future grooming.

Powder Puff, mother of the Snow-White Kittens Powder Puff and her 5 babies, nicknamed the "Snow-White Kittens," debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Barnaby, baby boy Daytona, baby boy Elwood, baby boy Kat, baby girl Libby, baby girl Powder Puff , who looks like a kitten herself, is just 2 years of age.  At the time of rescue this summer she was found on the streets and pregnant. We placed Powder Puff in a loving foster home so she could birth and raise her babies in a comfortable, safe home environment.  As a result, all of her kittens are well-socialized (with cats and dogs and people) and well-balanced emotionally. Powder Puff is now spayed.  Her Snow-White Kittens are now 4 months of age and spayed/neutered.  She has three boys ( Barnaby , Daytona , and Elwood ) and two girls ( Kat and Libby ).
