These angelic four siblings are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Cicero is a boy and his sisters are Calvina, Cocoa Bean, and Reggie Ann.  All four are very sweet, playful, and good-natured, plus they adore being around other cats.

Weeks ago, at the time of rescue, they had been stuffed in a cardboard box and abandoned.

Boo Bell is a triumphant baby girl debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

At the time of rescue, at first glance, she had appeared to have passed away.  She was completely limp and lifeless.  We detected shallow breathing and rushed her into emergency medical care. 

She had the deadly parvo virus and her outlook was grim.  But after weeks of extensive care, she kept gradually improving and regaining strength until she valiantly made a full recovery! 

Boo Bell loves to cuddle.  She is a beautiful Heinz 57 puppy (a blend of many breeds), now about 6 months of age and spayed.

I loved them with my whole heart and never dreamed they would throw me away.

At the time of rescue this puppy was tied to a light pole, cowering in fear, overcome with confusion.  Who knows how long he had been out there in the sun alone. 

We named him Lester and had him neutered and chipped and vaccinated, and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

Lester is an especially attractive boy, a Bully mix who is mostly white with a large brown patch, and he is about 9 months of age. 

Though very shy initially, he warms up beautifully with people he knows and in situations where he feels secure.

Was I in danger just because my teeth needed cleaning?

Tango is a very endearing boy with the most luminous eyes.   Super sweet too! 

Tango is a Yorkshire Terrier, about 5 years of age, neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

 Tango gets along well with other dogs and needs regular professional grooming. 

We rescued him from another shelter where he did not qualify for adoption because he needed a dental cleaning. 

We had his teeth cleaned and he is now ready to join a loving, forever home.

Having peace-of-mind is heavenly.

Ming is a gorgeous young lady with an engaging personality and enormous charm. 

She is a Dutch rabbit with blue eyes, about 18 months of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. 

Ming was rescued after being abandoned near a ranch/farm, in grave danger of being found by coyotes. 

She knows she is safe now and stretches out leisurely in her bunny condo without a care in the world.

Kee Kee is affectionately known at Nevada SPCA as the "Got Milk? cat".

She could not be cuter and she has a loving personality to match.

Kee Kee is a petite, black & white medium-hair feline, about 6 years of age, spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

Besides people, Kee Kee loves playing with toys, especially toys with feathers. 

She needed us because of her previous owner's busy travel schedule.

All of my joy and enthusiasm makes the world a bit kinder.

Rex's radiant personality contributes to his enormous charm.  He is eager to please and loves to share his joy with everyone he meets. 

Rex is a good-looking Border Collie & Golden Retriever mix wearing a natural tuxedo.  He is about 5 years of age, neutered, housetrained, good with dogs and children, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

Rex needed us when his previous owners became homeless.

Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin, debuting for adoption today.

Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin are exceptionally handsome young brothers with very lovable temperaments. 

Frank is a bit shy and feels more secure and outgoing when his brother Dean is with him. 

They are large Heinz 57s -- blends of many breeds -- just 1 year of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We believe they are soul-mates and need to stay together. 

The boys were rescued from a busy road with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tags, no microchips, and they were not neutered). 

Please help us find someone who will responsibly give them lifelong care and never fail them.

Jasmine, a precious Lhasa Apso & Maltese mix youngster for adoption.

Jasmine is an elegant, strong-willed little lady who likes everything to be done just so. 

She is a Lhasa Apso mix, perhaps with Maltese, about 3 years young, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She needed us because her previous owners thought they were allergic to her.

Jasmine is fine with most dogs, but picky about who she likes.  We believe she will do best in a gentle, experienced home.

We were discarded worse than garage sale items.

Spring and her daughter, Hannah, are gorgeous and friendly girls who want to stay together forever. 

They both love to follow the staff and volunteers around the room and both have blue eyes and snow-white coats. 

Spring is a Lop mix, about 4 years of age, and Hannah is mixed with Hot Tot too.  The girls are now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. 

At the time of rescue they were in a large, taped-up box with the word "FREE" on it, stuffed inside along with 5 other rabbits, abandoned in a vacant lot by a neighborhood.

Bubbles is a delightfully comical girl and her light-hearted spirit has been beautifully captured in this brand new portrait courtesy of Pet'ographique.

Bubbles is a pretty Miniature Pinscher, spayed, about 5 years of age.  She gets along well with other dogs.

A wading pool is a must for Bubbles.  She loves water so much we sometimes find her standing in her waterbowl.

Eloise and her four baby guinea pigs are now ready for adoption into loving, forever homes.

At the time of rescue, Eloise,a beautiful guinea pig, was pregnant and homeless.

We placed Eloise in a foster home so that she could give birth to her babies in a peaceful home environment.  In mid-June she gave birth to two sons and two daughters.

The foster parent helped socialize the babies too and they enjoy human contact.

Eloise's sons are Solstice and Major.  Her daughters are Summer and Mina. 

Guinea pigs are very social animals, so we strongly prefer to adopt the sons together as a pair and to adopt Eloise and her daughters together as a trio.

Do I really fit into this world? Is there a place for me?

Bella is understandably distraught and traumatized, but she has tremendous loving potential.  Her first owner abused her and her second owner became homeless, so she wonders whether she can ever really count on people and the security of a stable home. 

Bella is a pretty Lhasa-Poo, spayed girl, 2 years young, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

She is drawn to gentle people and she will blossom beautifully in an experienced, adult-only home. 

Bella gets along very well with other dogs (and cats too) and we believe she may do best joining a home with a big brother or big sister dog helping her adjust.

I'm just a baby, so how did I end up on the busiest road in Vegas?

This baby boy was weaving in and out of traffic on very busy Maryland Parkway. 

A young couple exiting a hospital heroically caught him and said it was a miracle he survived despite so many close calls of being struck by cars and trucks. 

We named the kitten Sunrise and he is now 4 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

Sunrise is a sleek shorthair who loves to purr in your arms and play with other cats.

Oreo Cookie, a snuggly, blind Shih-Tzu for adoption.

Oreo Cookie loves to snuggle and he finds tremendous comfort in your gentle arms. 

At the time of rescue, when his previous owner passed away, he did not have a right eye and his left eye was severely mangled beyond repair from a dog fight. 

Oreo Cookie is adjusting well to being blind and we are keeping his spirits up with tons of attention. 

He is a Shih-Tzu, neutered boy, 5 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

Oreo Cookie will do best in a home without other dogs, though he seems to be compatible with cats.

The innocence of an angel.

Bertolo loves to be held and hear you talk with him softly and reassuringly.

At the time of rescue Bertolo was found crying in a shed, his mother nowhere in sight. 

We placed him in a foster home and he has been receiving nurturing care.  Bertolo has been socialized beautifully in the foster home with cats, dogs, and children.

Am I worthy of being loved?

One day soon Athena will feel loved and cherished like a goddess, but right now she feels like a zero, confused why someone discarded her and let her get attacked so much that her face is full of scarring. 

It's hard to look at the naked heartbreak in her eyes, but Athena is now safe and her future is bright.

2-pound Shani and her brothers need a foster home please.

We need a foster parent ASAP please for 2-pound Shani and her two brothers. 

About 10 weeks of age, she is too young and too tiny to be in a shelter environment. 

A foster parent can give these Poodle mix puppies weeks of loving care and socialization until they are old enough and large enough to be spayed/neutered. 

Shani, her brothers, and her mother were surrendered by someone moving out of town immediately.

Pistol is a hero and his previous owner loved him and was very crushed to lose him, but when she became homeless she surrendered him to us so that he could find a loving, safe, comfortable new home.

At the time of rescue back in May, these four angels were newborns found in grave danger under a car.

We placed them in a loving foster home for nurturing care and socialization, and all four are thriving beautifully.

Stewey is the only boy and Kevina, Patty, and Starlight are his sisters.  We nicknamed them "The Heavenly Kittens" and you can ask for them by name when you visit.

Peter Parker needs a superhero.

This time it is Peter Parker who needs a superhero. 

He is a baby boy who was surrendered to us by his previous owner who could not afford medical care for him after he got bit by a spider. 

Peter Parker has mild neurological damage, and he is deaf, but he is an affectionate puppy and can lead a wonderful, loving life. 

A foster parent gave him nurturing care and socialization. 

 Peter Parker triumphantly debuts for adoption Thursday morning (July 19th) at 11am at Nevada SPCA. 

He is a Poodle & Terrier mix, neutered boy, 4 months of age.

Like most rescued animals, Hera did nothing wrong to become homeless.  Her previous owner moved into an apartment complex that did not allow her.

I am the sweetest little ball of dynamite!

Cinna will dazzle you with her playful spirit, but this baby girl most loves to purr herself to sleep in your arms. 

Her foster mom, who has lovingly raised Cinna since her rescue as a newborn, says that Cinna's favorite hobby is indeed cuddling and snuggling.

Since I did not qualify for adoption there, what would have happened to me?

Sasha is a cuddly, sensitive pup with an affectionate nature. 

She is a beautiful blend of many breeds and she is expected to grow to medium size.  Sasha is about 8 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

We rescued Sasha two months ago from a government-funded shelter.  She had a very severe hip injury (consistent with being struck by a bicycle or vehicle) and did not qualify for adoption.  We had leg surgery provided for Sasha and she has recovered very well.

Claire offers you a lifetime of entertainment, as well as unconditional love. 

She is the cutest little showboat and she sings and dances -- standing on her hind legs, swimming with her front legs, yapping happily. 

Claire is a Shih-Tzu, about 7 years of age, spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

She was at a government-funded shelter that asked us to rescue her because she had an ear infection. We had treatment provided for her and she healed well. 

She needs regular professional grooming.

Troy is an incredibly adorable baby boy debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

He is a chocolate Miniature Pinscher & Chihuahua mix with the cutest underbite, neutered, about 4 months of age. 

Troy has a gentle nature and he is drawn to soft-spoken, nurturing people. 

He had apparently been purchased from a store or breeder for a 4-year-old child who was afraid of him. 

We believe Troy will do best in a calm home environment.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety and protection.

I knew I was in extreme danger at the cemetery.

Helene is a baby bunny with a gentle spirit and she is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. 

Like Rue, another baby bunny posted earlier this week, Helene was rescued by one of our staff after being abandoned in a cemetery. Domesticated and unable to find proper food, clean water, or proper shade by herself, she was imminent danger from the elements alone, not to mention predators, lawn mowers, etc. 

 Helene is a beautiful Lionhead rabbit, now spayed, about 7 months of age.

Gonzo triumphantly survived puppy strangles.

Gonzo is a comical, engaging, and smart baby boy who triumphantly overcame "puppy strangles" (juvenile cellulitis), following extensive medical and foster care. 

Though he has some permanent scarring, particularly on his neck, he is healed and ready to begin a life of love and devotion, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

Gonzo is a Chihuahua mix, neutered, 5 months of age, and he is compatible with cats and dogs. 

Gonzo needed us because his previous owner was not able to provide him with the veterinary care necessary to save his life.

The nightmare is over for these precious sweethearts.

Severely neglected and exploited in a backyard breeding scheme, they thought the world offered them mainly despair.

Their crates and living areas were rancid.  When we put leashes on them, they panicked and went into alligator rolls believing they were getting hurt.

But each has tremendous loving potential.  All six are making progress with trust, some more than others, and we are confident that in very experienced and patient homes they will emotionally heal and develop self-esteem, and personalities will blossom.

Lotus and Oak Leaf are still puppies, both boys, now neutered, 5 and 7 months of age, respectively.

The other four are youngsters approximately 2-3 years of age.  They are groomed and spayed/neutered now too.  Dandy Lion is a boy.  Birch, Iris, and Marigold are girls.
