Casey beams when you tell him he's a wonderful sweetheart.  He is 4 years of age, but young at heart like a puppy, a Labrador Retriever mix, neutered boy, good with most dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Casey was at another shelter that asked for our help. He is underweight and building a bit more muscle mass and energy daily.

Odie , young at heart at 11 years of age, beams with hope that he will soon have someone to love. Odie is a Jack Russell Terrier, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other dogs and older kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    He was surrendered due to his previous owners' hardship.

Roxy & Izzy are devoted sisters and they are quite young at heart at 12 years of age.  Both girls are "wiggleworms" and overflow with enthusiasm when you take them for a walk and spend quality time with them.  They are Cocker Spaniels, spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, compatible with cats & dogs & kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  The girls needed us when their previous owners moved overseas.  Please help find them a hero!

Chevy , young at heart at 12 years of age, likes chasing rolled-up paper balls.  He is a handsome medium-hair tuxedo, previously declawed, a neutered boy, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Chevy became homeless when his previous owners divorced.

Emma & Roscoe , 13 and 10 years of age, are peppy in spirit and so happy to always be together.  They needed us when one of their previous owners passed away.  They are Dachshunds and soul-mates, a spayed girl and neutered boy, good with other dogs, crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Rocko , 14, inspires us with his youthful spirit. He finds joy in every social moment and loves meeting new people. Rocko is reportedly a Jack Russell & Boston Terrier mix. He is housetrained & crate-trained, compatible with older kids and some dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Quinn , young at heart at 9 years of age, is blessed with a radiant smile and spirit.  He is a handsome Queensland Heeler & Siberian Husky mix, neutered, housetrained, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Quinn is good with large dogs, but cannot be around small dogs or other small animals.  We rescued him from another shelter that ran out of space for him.  Please visit and ask for Quinn by name.

Pip , 11, young at heart, wants to love someone during his twilight years who will never fail him.    He is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . We rescued Pip from another shelter. He had been quarantined for a nip/snap/bite of his previous owner who was reportedly punishing him, inexplicably, with tissue papers, in some unusual way.    Pip deserves better and we are grateful for the opportunity to find him a stable and loving home.

Stewie , 11, is a boy young at heart who likes to greet people at the door and welcome them warmly.  He is a handsome treasure and he is fascinated by catnip, rolling on it every chance he gets.  Stewie is great with cats too.  He is a tabby & white shorthair, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Pete , 13 and deaf, is so spry and young-at-heart that you can see he still feels like a puppy on the inside.  He is a Cocker Spaniel, housetrained and crate-trained, good with dogs and kids, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Consistent hand signals, like thumbs up, are important for communication with him.  Pete needed us when his previous owners moved into an apartment that does not allow pets.  Please share Pete's post to help find him a hero.

Akira , 11, radiant and young at heart, politely asks for a responsible, loving forever home. She is a warm-hearted Siberian Husky, spayed, housetrained, good with kids and large dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Akira enjoys squeaky toys and sleeping next to your bed.    She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Queenie , an amiable and brilliant girl, will likely surprise you in countless good ways.    She loves to swim and splash. "She can run forever," says the triathlon coach volunteer who trains for competitions with her. Queenie is good with kids and shakes your hand to let you know when she needs to go outside. She is a beautiful Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, young-at-heart at 8 years of age, spayed, housetrained, fine with some large dogs, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Pandora beams with good cheer and she's young-at-heart and ready for fun.    She is an intelligent Boxer mix, 9 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Pandora wholeheartedly loves people. She was at another shelter that asked for our help. Pandora will not tolerate dogs of any size or temperament. She likes to bolt out of doors and think it's exciting to escape, so an exceptionally secure home and yard is vital for her safety please.

Blossom Hickory Ponderosa Three more friendly, rescued ferrets -- Blossom , Hickory , and Ponderosa -- are ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Each is 6 years of age, spayed/neutered, and compatible with cats and ferrets.  Blossom , a mischievous girl, loves to explore rooms.  Hickory is easy-going and prefers watching others while he lounges gracefully.  Ponderosa is playful and young-at-heart.  We rescued them from another shelter that asked for our help after they were seized from an animal center last week.  Please share their pictures to help find them responsible, loving forever homes.

Mikey , young at heart at 7 years of age, enjoys exploring new areas of the room or house during his playtime every day.  He is very content with quality attention from people he bonds with and cozy pillows for his naps.  Mikey would love a gentle home and he is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued him from a California shelter (ferrets are illegal in California).
