Spock

Image
Spock is so zany fun and flamboyantly attractive with his tufted ears.  He is a young Yorkshire Terrier & Chihuahua mix, 3 years of age, neutered boy, good with other dogs, now debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Spock needs a very secure home and yard please -- he can leap and climb fences with ease.  He needed us due to the personal hardship of his previous owner who wanted him to have a better life.

Finn

Image
Finn is a radiant, fun-loving youngster eager to bring joy and devotion to someone who will commit to him forever. Finn is a handsome Siberian Husky, 1 year of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    His previous owner surrendered him because he was not getting along with her other dogs. Our experience is that Finn is compatible with some dogs, but won't tolerate dogs being bossy with him.    We believe he has the temperament to be exceptional with kids.

Pandora

Image
Pandora beams with good cheer and she's young-at-heart and ready for fun.    She is an intelligent Boxer mix, 9 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Pandora wholeheartedly loves people. She was at another shelter that asked for our help. Pandora will not tolerate dogs of any size or temperament. She likes to bolt out of doors and think it's exciting to escape, so an exceptionally secure home and yard is vital for her safety please.

Franz

Image
Franz is an intelligent, golden-hearted, and exceptionally handsome German Shepherd who needs a hero.  There is tremendous kindness in him, but he has challenges due to his previous owners failing to socialize him properly.  Franz is 6 years of age, neutered, and compatible with some dogs.  German Shepherd knowledge required for his adoption.  We rescued Franz from another shelter.  His challenges include fear of people in uniforms (including veterinarians) and he can scale/jump 8-foot fences.  Please help us find Franz a home where he can continue improving and reaching his full loving potential.

Lila

Image
Lila is a sensitive young girl yearning to find her place in this chaotic, sometimes cruel world.  She is a beautiful German Shepherd, 3 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Lila was at another shelter and needed our help due to timidity.  She has been hit and worries that strangers want to harm her.  We believe Lila is ready to give her heart to someone who will keep her safe and show her a lifetime of kindness.  German Shepherd knowledge and a secure home/yard is needed for her adoption.  Please share Lila's picture to help find her a hero.

Queenie

Image
Queenie is a brilliant, radiant Catahoula Leopard Dog mix ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She is terrific with kids of all ages, housetrained, and good with other dogs.  Queenie is about 6 years of age and spayed, homeless due to the financial hardship of her previous owner.  Queenie's big challenge is reportedly her Houdini-like capabilities.  Indoors, she is reportedly calm and content.  Outdoors though, she is reportedly so determined that she can sneak out of any yard by whatever means necessary.  For Queenie's safety, we are seeking a home for her where she will never be left unattended in the backyard.

Lionel

Image
Lionel is a young boy with captivating eyes and a dazzling smile and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He was at another shelter that asked for our help because of his timidity.  But right at this moment he is being comforted by a very gentle volunteer and awakening to the realization that he is now safe.  Lionel has the body type of a Rottweiler and he is blended with other breeds.  He is 2 years young, neutered, and reportedly fine with some dogs.  Lionel can reportedly scale fences, so a very secure home and yard is essential for his safety.

Duchess survived on her own at a campground for more than a year before her rescue.

Image
Duchess was reportedly dumped in a campground.  For more than a year she refused to let people get close, but hovered in the distance hoping for some morsels of food.  Finally, Duchess befriended a very gentle elderly man and let herself be captured.  This man had her a short time before bringing her to us, teaching her housetraining and beginning her other adjustments to indoor living.  Duchess needs to continue blooming.  She is still very independent, strong-willed, and intolerant of people making her do anything she doesn't want to do.  Duchess is a beautiful Akita & Shepherd mix, 2-3 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She cannot be around small animals.  Please help us find Duchess her lifelong hero.
