Ernest , 17, jolly and young at heart, is full of hope for love in his twilight years. He is deeply grateful to the volunteers who walk him and the caretakers who feed and console him.     Ernest is a Pomeranian, great with other dogs, neutered, and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA . Ernest was captured dodging traffic. He was in poor, malnourished condition and had no sign of responsible ownership.    Please keep him on premium food and take him for daily strolls.

Lancelot , 17, a gentle soul, pleads for someone kind for his twilight years.  He is a lynx point Siamese, neutered boy, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Lancelot was found on the streets, malnourished and disoriented. His microchip ID tracked to his previous owner, but this person said he had been missing for 10 years and was no longer wanted.  Please share Lancelot's picture to help find him a hero.

Angelo , 13, a gentle sweetheart, asks for someone to love for his twilight years.  He is a handsome Collie mix, a neutered boy, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Angelo is easy to please and appreciates knowing that you are happy with him.  He was at another shelter that ran out of space.

Donnie , 14, a wise and amiable boy, fits in very well with kind people and dogs.  He is a "deerhead" Chihuahua with a fox-like appearance, neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Donnie landed in an animal shelter in another state. His microchip ID traced back to Nevada SPCA from an adoption many years ago. Though efforts to reach his adopters were not successful, Donnie was transported back to Las Vegas and returned to Nevada SPCA for his safety and opportunity to find a hero for his twilight years.

James , 15, needs a hero for his twilight years.  He is a calm-natured, wise, and noble boy who may inspire you with his grace.  James is a Cocker Spaniel, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and kids, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  He needed us when his previous owner became too ill to care for him.

Major Tom , 15, was found disoriented on the side of a road with no sign of responsible ownership.  He is a small, earnest boy, a blend of many breeds (Heinz 57), neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Major Tom's eyes are full of hope and he deeply appreciates every kind word, touch, and action.  Please help find him a hero.

Pip , 11, young at heart, wants to love someone during his twilight years who will never fail him.    He is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . We rescued Pip from another shelter. He had been quarantined for a nip/snap/bite of his previous owner who was reportedly punishing him, inexplicably, with tissue papers, in some unusual way.    Pip deserves better and we are grateful for the opportunity to find him a stable and loving home.

Bambi , 13 and blind, pleads for a hero for her twilight years. Your kind touch and words mean everything to her.    Bambi is a Beagle & Chihuahua mix, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    She needed us when her previous owner moved away without her.

Bobby Angel , 14, is very docile boy and just asks for kindness. There's a ton of love from this tiny boy.    He likes the serenity of his crate, with the door open so he can emerge as he pleases. He is a Chihuahua, neutered, good with other dogs, ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Bobby Angel is on daily medication for hypothyroidism.    We rescued him from another shelter.    Please help find Bobby Angel someone wonderful for his final years.

Ruth , 20, finds comfort with tender touch, gentle chin scratches, and cozy napping spots. Until recently, Ruth's whole life was with her previous owner who became too ill to care for her. Ruth was taken by family members, but she was terrified of their dogs and in distress. Will you please help us find Ruth a peaceful and compassionate home for her twilight years?    She is spayed, previously declawed (all paws), and ready for adoption in the Senior Sweetheart Suite playroom at Nevada SPCA.

Miss Olivia melts your heart with her pleading eyes. Tell her she is lovely and her tail whips merrily from side-to-side and she asks for more praise. Miss Olivia , 12, needs a hero. She is a Labrador Retriever mix, good with other medium and large-size dogs (but not small dogs), spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She was abandoned with body wounds at another shelter by her previous owner (for reasons unknown). We rescued this sweet girl and her wounds healed. Olivia has minor masses on her body, but her veterinarian recommended against surgery due to her advanced age.    Miss Olivia needs love, peace, and comfort for her twilight years.

Harmony was abandoned on a busy street in front of a large charitable organization in Vegas that focuses on helping people in financial distress.  She was in filthy, poor condition, with dental problems, and no sign of responsible ownership.  Harmony is a tiny, super sweet Toy & Chihuahua mix, 10 years of age.  She is now cleaned, groomed, eating premium food, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We had dental care provided for her, including numerous extractions.  Harmony likes other calm dogs and a gentle home where she will be cherished for her twilight years is ideal.

Tabitha is young at heart and surprisingly vibrant for 17 years of age.  She is quite affectionate too and fond of having soft conversations with you.  Tabitha is a lovely golden brown tabby, spayed girl, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She was in a state of neglect at the time of rescue, but she has bounced back well with loving care and dental care.  Please help us find Tabitha a hero so she can spend her final years with love and dignity in a responsible home.

Pierre's eyes reveal so much of his soul and kind spirit.  He is 12 years of age and losing his previous owners (due to their financial despair) has shaken his world upside down.  But Pierre still has enormous love to give and we're eager to place him in a loving home for his twilight years.  Pierre is a plump Terrier & Poodle mix, neutered boy, good with other dogs, and reportedly housetrained.  He is long-haired, but here sporting his brand new professional shave and grooming.  Please help us find a forever home for Pierre .

Koko, on her debut adoption day, July 20 Koko, at the time of rescue Koko is a graceful, older girl with a very kind spirit and she is now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. She is a Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund mix), about 13 years of age and spayed.  Koko enjoys other sweet dogs and she adores gentle people. At the time of rescue she was found abandoned outside of a veterinary clinic with an enormous abdominal tumor. We had Koko's tumor and a small growth removed and she has healed well.  Please help find Koko a hero who will cherish her, and let her live with dignity and love during her twilight years.

Rosie doesn't understand about money and financial hardship, so losing her previous home has confused her and turned her world upside down.  Rosie is a humble, gentle older girl with a very kind spirit and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Lhasa Apso mix, now shaved to get rid of all of the mats and knots in her neglected coat, 11 years of age and spayed.  Rosie is good with other dogs and reportedly housetrained.  She asks only for love and dignity for her twilight years.  Please help us find Rosie a hero.

Roland is an extra large, extra sweet senior who needs a loving home for his twilight years.  He is 11 years, but looks and acts half his age.  Roland is a Great Dane & Rottweiler mix, neutered boy, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued him from another shelter.  Please ask for Roland by name when you visit.

Joey is a 13-year-old Boston Terrier who is tugging at our hearts and we want to find him the most comfortable and loving home for his twilight years.  He needed us when his previous owner became incapacitated.  Joey loves other gentle dogs and humbly asks for so little, just wanting kindness and respect and caring.  Joey is reportedly housetrained, crate-trained, and compatible with cats and mature kids.  Please ask for Joey by name when you visit Nevada SPCA.  People who adopt senior animals usually experience rich emotional rewards, along with immense gratitude from the animals they welcome into their families.

Rex is a very gentle soul, an older boy who is worried about who is going to love him during his twilight years.  (His previous owner reportedly moved out of state and left him behind with a family member.)  Rex is a gold & white Labrador Retriever & Sporting Dog mix, about 9 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is reportedly housetrained and fine with dogs and mature kids.  Please help us find a hero for Rex .

Dexter has the enthusiasm and jazzy spirit of a puppy, but he is actually 10 years of age and completely blind. Dexter is a Jack Russell Terrier, neutered, housetrained, good with cats and dogs and kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Dexter relishes playing with other dogs and greets you warmly every time you return.  He gets around very well and confidently without his sight.
