Bruno is achieving a beautiful transformation and his personality is blooming!  He was found abandoned outdoors, matted to the skin across his whole body, a victim of neglect many months or even years in the making.  Bruno has been cleaned and shaved, and now eats premium food anytime he chooses without worry or fear of hunger.  So the world is not looking like such a scary or cruel place anymore.  Bruno is a charcoal Persian mix, about 6 years of age, good with other cats, now neutered and debuting triumphantly for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Dodge's survival is miraculous, and the fact that he still loves humans is equally tremendous.  An officer found him repeatedly stabbed in the neck (knife wounds of 3-4 inches deep on the left side) and discarded to die on a Vegas street.  Dodge was taken to another shelter that in turn asked for our help.  He has now healed and he triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Dodge adores kind people and loves being touched, petted, hugged, and reassured.  He is just one year of age, a neutered boy, and now ready to bless someone wonderful with his unconditional love.

A Clark County woman found this young girl thrown by an unknown person into her back yard.  She was in deplorable, matted condition that shocked even those of us who have saved countless victims of extreme neglect.  We named her Heidi and discovered after shaving away all of the filth and tangles that she has substantial scars around her body too.  It's clear Heidi had almost completely given up on the world and her soul dulled.  But now that Heidi is getting companionship with other dogs, care and comfort from volunteers and staff, and premium meals and treats, her spirit is beginning to sparkle again.  Heidi is a quiet-natured Shih-Tzu, 3 years of age, now spayed and awaiting a hero to adopt her at Nevada SPCA.

Genesis is getting a new beginning -- the fresh start he so desperately needs.  He was found near a Vegas highway and taken to another shelter, which then asked for our help.  Both of Genesis's ears have been severely maimed in multiple places from unknown causes (some believe from animal bites, others suspect human cruelty).  Precautions are needed in the home and yard not to snag/catch/tear his ears further.  Genesis is a very sweet, humble Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund mix), 3 years young, neutered boy, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Van Gogh , a beaming and jubilant young boy, triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of his rescue in June he was emaciated from starvation.  But after a summer of premium, probiotic food and nutritional supplements, he is now the picture of exceptional health and vitality!  Van Gogh is a playful, joyous Labrador Retriever, 1 year young and now neutered.  He enjoys most dogs and he smiles lovingly when he's around people.  Please come meet Van Gogh and spend time with him in our courtyard.
