Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Hank has made an incredible recovery from starvation. Now, after 5 months of healing and building energey, he is spirited, athletic, and in terrific physical condition. In January, he was found emaciated and skeletal in an abandoned home. His previous owners reportedly moved away and left him inside. A neighbor discovered Hank inside and rushed him to us for emergency care. Hank is a handsome Miniature Pinscher mix, 1 year of age, housetrained, good with dogs (if fed meals and treats separately), now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Colleen is a tender-hearted little lady asking for someone gentle to accept her unconditional devotion and always keep her safe. Peace-of-mind is Colleen's utmost concern. She is head-shy, fearful of strangers, and burdened with frequent nightmares. We don't know what she endured, but it's clear she needs to see only the best of human nature from now on. Colleen is a pretty, tri-color Chihuahua & Rat Terrier mix, 6 years of age and spayed, good with other sweet dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued Colleen from another shelter that asked for our help.

Kenny politely puts his paws on your knee and asks for acceptance.    He would love to win your heart and bless you with his unconditional devotion in exchange for a stable, forever home. Kenny is a small Rat Terrier & Dachshund mix, 7 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued him in the nick of time from another shelter.

Melanie loves giving hugs. She is an affectionate, polite young girl who wants you to be pleased with her.  Melanie is a beautiful tri-color (blue-grey/tan/white) Bully mix, 2 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Melanie is compatible with other dogs she knows and accepts. We believe she has the temperament to be terrific with children.  Melanie was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Lola is forlorn, homeless at 10 years of age for reasons she cannot understand (her previous owners' financial hardship), but her eyes light up and sparkle when you tell her how sweet she is.  She is a dainty Jack Russell Terrier & Chihuahua mix, spayed girl, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and mature kids, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Please help find a gentle, loving home for Lola .

Stavros pleads for someone to love.  We find his meerkat-like facial impressions and sweet personality impossible to resist.  Stavros is friendly with people and dogs. He is a small (10 pounds) Heinz 57 -- a blend of many breeds, including Chihuahua -- 2 years young, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We saved Stavros from another shelter that asked for our help and his background is otherwise unknown.
