Emerald begins to beam with hope. She's no longer hanging her head in despair.    She doesn't understand leashes, so we're carrying her from room to room, but she wants to learn. Emerald is a sensitive girl ready to bloom in a loving, forever home where she will be showered with reassurance and kind guidance.    She is a medium-size (42 pounds) Retriever mix, 5 years of age, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    Emerald was at another shelter that asked for our help with her timidity and fear.

Look whose eyes are now full of such hope! Pete is progressing beautifully, physically and emotionally. He no longer hangs his head in fear and overflows with joy when volunteers and staff take him out of his kennel for walks or playtime.    Pete is a young Mini Bully mix, 1 year of age and neutered, awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA .
