Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Jenna , a precious baby girl, saved from peril and now healed, triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA and she is ready to bless the world with her love. Jenna is an affectionate puppy, a Toy Fox Terrier & Chihuahua mix, 5 months of age and now spayed. At the time of rescue she was suffering from the life-threatening parvo virus. We rushed Jenna into emergency care at an animal hospital. Thanks to very generous donors, we were able to have extensive treatment provided for her and veterinarians succeeded in saving Jenna's life.

Chubby , a big ball of sunshine and love, lays on his back in your lap to happily accept his thrice-daily eye-drops. He was blind at the time of rescue. Two surgeries -- a face-lift (to pull skin folds out of his eyes) and entropion surgery (to repair inward-folding eyelids) -- have restored Chubby's vision. Thank you very much to the generous donors who made his advanced care and rehabilitation and possible! Chubby is an exceptionally joyous English Bulldog, 6 years of age and neutered, housetrained, good with kids and some dogs, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Elizabeth , saved from peril, now feels so good she can't stop kissing people and playing with her toys! This darling baby girl needs a foster home please for approximately 2 weeks (until she can be spayed). If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lani. Elizabeth was in danger of succumbing to the parvo virus at the time of rescue. She was surrendered to us and we rushed her into emergency treatment at a veterinary hospital. Thanks to extensive care made possible by generous donations, she made a beautiful recovery. ( Elizabeth cannot be around dogs who are not up-to-date on vaccines.) Elizabeth is believed to be a Siberian Husky and Retriever mix, 3 months of age.

Coco , now well and eyes sparkling, wants someone wonderful to love forever.    She likes crawling, demurely, to your feet and then asks you to pick her up and hold her.    Coco is a Yorkshire Terrier mix, 1 year young and spayed, good with other dogs, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . At the time of rescue, from a suspected breeder, Coco was in peril from parvovirus. We rushed her into emergency medical care at an animal hospital, and thanks to extensive treatment made possible by generous donors, veterinarians were able to save her life.

Leonardo , now healed and saved from peril, looks with bright eyes to a safe future full of love.  He is an adorable Pekingese & Toy mix puppy, 5 months of age, neutered, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  At the time of rescue Leonardo was abandoned and very ill with a life-threatening disease (parvo virus).  Thank you to the exceptionally generous donors who made his extensive emergency care at an animal hospital possible.

Bran , an acrobatic baby boy with three legs, loves jumping in hats and leaping and playing with cats and dogs.    He is a 5-month-old sweetheart kitten, neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Please kitten-proof your home for his safety. At the time of rescue Bran was found by kind people on a street with a severely twisted hind left leg and they suspected he had been struck by a car.    We had x-rays taken at a veterinary hospital that instead indicated the deformity was likely a birth defect and the veterinarian said it needed to be removed because it was impairing his movements.    Within days after the amputation, Bran was moving around with ease in his foster home and seemingly very relieved to be unburdened by a non-functioning leg.
