Sunshine , a sweetheart puppy, has recovered from starvation and malnourishment. (She was at another shelter that asked for our help due to the very poor condition she was found in on the streets.    Sunshine has been building body mass and gaining energy. She hugs and kisses her caretakers every day to express her gratitude for kindness. Sunshine is a Shar Pei mix, 6 months of age, good with other dogs, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Please keep her on nutritious, premium food and a very steady feeding schedule for her continuing improvement.

Sunshine , gentle and earnest, triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .   She is a Shih-Tzu & Poodle mix, 1 year of age, good with other dogs, and now spayed. Sunshine's "before" picture from the time of her rescue is too shocking and upsetting to share (especially since many children and young people follow our posts). Her matting was so extreme that one of her hind legs was tangled and unusable in a giant knot and both of her eyes were severely infected.    Now, after 3 months of recovery, Sunshine is unrecognizable from the time of rescue. Her hope and will to live have returned and she asks for someone gentle and patient to dearly treasure her.

Buddy, baby boy Heathcliff, baby boy Rayne, baby boy Sunshine, baby girl Buddy , Heathcliff , Rayne , and Sunshine are four of the rescued kittens ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  All four are sporty & acrobatic, playful and good with people and cats, 3 months of age and spayed/neutered.  Please kitten-proof your home for their safety.  Buddy was found on the streets, Heathcliff came from another shelter, and Rayne and Sunshine were born in a foster home caring for a pregnant cat.

Now healed, Mitch overflows with sunshine and hope!  He likes laying at your feet and smiling. Mitch is a Labrador Retriever mix, 5 years of age, neutered boy, good with other dogs, triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue Mitch was at another shelter and injured. He had sustained massive trauma across his body from an unknown cause. Now, almost two months later, Mitch is feeling good and bright in spirit. Please come meet and consider this happy boy.
