Jessica

Image
Jessica is a baby girl who still believes in human kindness, despite whatever horror she endured.  She is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix puppy, 10 months of age, now spayed and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Jessica was found abandoned with injuries consistent with a violent assault, including bruises and scratches on her neck, face, and eyes.  She is now healed, playing with other dogs, bonding beautifully with her caretakers, and ready for a forever home where she will only know love and peace and the best of human nature from now on.

Sofia

Image
Sofia , 12, was on the streets and so matted and dirty we suspect she had been fending for herself or in an extremely neglectful home for quite some time.    Despite whatever she endured, Sofia likes people and wants affectionate and reassurance. She is a sweetheart Poodle mix, spayed and good with dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.   Please help find her a hero.

Tapioca

Image
Tapioca , 12, has endured so much hardship and heartbreak, but he still believes in kindness. He is a mellow Cocker Spaniel, housetrained, good with dogs, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Tapioca approaches women with ease, but fears men unless they are sitting down (until he gets to know them). His coat shows signs of malnourishment, so please keep Tapioca on a premium, nutritious meals and treats. (We expect his coat will look remarkably different in 6-9 months.) Please help find a hero for Tapioca .

Jericho

Image
Jericho is a soulful young boy who has healed well. He is very loving and outgoing with people he adores.    Jericho is a Chihuahua, 2 years of age, neutered and good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He was at another shelter that asked for our help due to injuries and bruising across his body from physical trauma. There were no puncture wounds or crushed bones (so no consistency with an animal attack or vehicle collision, respectively), and fears were that he had been beaten by human hand (but this remains unconfirmed). Regardless of what Jericho endured, he still believes in human goodness. He wants to know peace and serenity, belonging to someone who will always keep him safe and loved.

Emilia

Image
Emilia loves to be in gentle arms. Whatever she endured, including having her ears inexplicably and crudely cut off, has not ended her belief that people can be kind. Emilia is a sweet Miniature Pinscher, 6 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She was found stray in a busy parking lot with no sign of responsible ownership.
