Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Shane is a fun, observant, playful youngster with a loving nature.  He is a lilac point Siamese with mesmerizing blue eyes, 1 year of age and neutered, good with cats and dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Shane needs to remain on a lifelong special diet (C/D) that diminishes the likelihood of crystals forming in his bladder.  Please share Shane's picture to help find him a hero.

Poinsettia purrs her heart out joyfully when sitting in your lap for petting or brushing. She is a gorgeous and affectionate youngster, a seal point Siamese with captivating eyes, 2 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Poinsettia requires a special diet (hyperthyroid). She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Relic wants to treasure you and become a valued member of a loving, forever home. She is a gorgeous White Shepherd, 2 years young, spayed, good with other large dogs and older kids, housetrained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    She has completed a professional dog training program and knows many commands. Relic needs a hero. She is on a special diet (Science Diet i/d for digestive care) and takes daily anti-anxiety medication.

Will , graceful and wise, gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids.  He is a stunning silver tabby & white shorthair, 4 years of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Will is on a special diet (affordable). His previous owner said she did not have time for him anymore.  Adoption is forever -- we want to find Will a stable home where he will be dearly cherished for life.

  Suzie , a quiet-natured little lady ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA, likes sitting peacefully at your side or lounging near you in the same room and watching you.  She is very humble and just asks for kindness.  Suzie is a dainty, beautiful tabby with white mitts and she is spayed and 9 years of age.  She may do best in a one-cat household where she can have you all to herself.    Suzie is on a special diet (for hypothyroidism) and pleads for a hero to call her own.

Maria , sweet 16, gently taps your arm for your attention and reassurance.  Once you make eye contact with her, she begins purring and rubbing her head in your hands. Mufasa is a cheerful young boy eager to love you unconditionally.  Now healing beautifully, his spirits are soaring and he is debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Mufasa is a Siberian Husky mix, likely with some German Shepherd, 1 year of age and neutered.  At the time of rescue he was at another shelter that asked for our help, suffering from ear infections and skin tenderness on his abdomen.  Veterinarians had us put Mufasa on a grain-free diet, which began making an immediate difference with his food allergies.  Please visit and ask for Mufasa by name.

Lina , successfully completing a 7-month rehabilitation, triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA!  She is a charming Dachshund mix and when she is excited she hops her front legs in small jumps of joy.  Lina is a Dachshund mix, 9 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and housetrained.  At the time of rescue she was wounded (unknown cause) and nearly completely hairless from severe skin allergies.  Since then Lina has healed well and on a special diet (fish) she has thrived and regrown most of her hair.  Please come meet this valiant little lady!

Buddy would love to be your most devoted, gentle companion.  He looks at you, his eyes full of love and admiration, and he softly talks with you throughout the day as he listens to your thoughts and feelings.  Buddy is a 16-pound sweetheart, 13 years of age, a neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. His form of diabetes is managed well with a special diet -- which will be supplied to his adopter in abundance -- instead of insulin shots.  Buddy needed us due to his previous owners' declining health.  Please help him find a hero for his twilight years.

Beau Don dances and prances and loves to show off!  Especially for treats and smiling cheers.  He is agile standing on his back legs and may spin too in order to dazzle you. He is a cute, plump Bichon Frise, neutered male, approximately 3 years of age, debuting for adoption today. Beau Don is great with dogs, and reportedly loves children and is compatible with cats.  He is also reportedly housetrained. Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming care for him. Beau Don reportedly has special diet needs (beef, no poultry, plus cranberries), so please consult your veterinarian for a diet plan best suited for him. He needed us because his previous owner moved into a home where companion animals are not allowed.

Willie is a kind, loving boy. Despite all he has been through -- abuse and repeated rejection from past owners -- he still maintains an optimistic attitude. Willie is a Labrador Retriever mix, neutered, between 6-7 years of age. His special needs surely stem from the damage done to his soul by a monster who beat him. They are as follows: 1) He is prone to becoming underweight if not given a high-calorie diet, 2) he dribbles bits of urine when fearful or especially anxious (and this is involuntary, so he must never be punished for it), and 3) he is frightened of young children. So, Willie needs a hero -- someone who will show him that humans can indeed make lifetime commitments to those they love .

Update: Christie Brinkley was adopted on July 3rd! Christie Brinkley is a gorgeous, adventurous youngster. Besides dogs, she is reportedly compatible with cats and kind children of all ages. Christie Brinkley is a Terrier mix with stunning coloring, spayed, and about 2 years of age. She is reportedly housetrained and crate-trained. This well-behaved girl lost her previous family when they believed she had mange. However, we had a skin specialist evaluate Christie Brinkley and she was diagnosed instead with food allergies (no mange at all). Now on a special diet, her skin and coat are looking terrific. Christie Brinkley debuts for adoption today.
