  June's broken heart has been steadily mending, thanks to companionship with other cats, volunteers, and her caretakers. Her previous owner passed away and she does not understand what happened. June is a large, 24-pound sweetheart with captivating eyes, 8 years of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    She likes napping under blankets, climbing cat towers, and snuggling with people and cats.

Talia , an adorable junior kitten recovered from a major injury, triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . On Halloween night, someone attempted to sever her tail, maiming her with a large wound. We rushed her to an animal hospital for emergency surgery to save her life. Talia's favorite things include playing with other cats, snuggling with people and stuffed animals, and chasing laser light pointers.    She is 10 months of age and spayed and ready for an indoor-only home where she will be dearly loved and cherished for life.

Somerset is happiest snuggled in your lap and trying to sneak doggie kisses on your chin.  She is a very humble girl without much self-esteem, so she is yet to realize she is a wonderful treasure.  Somerset does not yet know how to walk on leashes, so we carry her from place to place.  She is a beautiful and unique blend of many breeds (Hound, Retriever, Bully), 4 years of age and spayed, good with mature kids and some dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Somerset needed us due to her previous owners' financial hardship.

Royal is a baby boy who loves snuggling and feeling adored.  He is healing well (minor nose injury) and now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Royal is a remarkably cute White Shepherd & Siberian Husky puppy, 5 months of age, and good with other dogs.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. He was found on the streets in poor condition and with no sign of responsible ownership.  Royal deserves a stable, responsible home where he will always be safe and treasured.

Gustavo is an inquisitive young boy who enjoys snuggling with people and dogs.  He is a remarkably cute Chihuahua & Italian Greyhound mix, 1 year of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Gustavo is fine with mature kids and partially housetrained.

Star politely asks for your consideration and kindness.  She is an elegant sweetheart, a tabby with jewel eyes, 7 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Star enjoys playing soccer with her toys and curling up for snuggles at your side.  She needed us due to the deteriorating health of her previous owners.

Monica's favorite things include snuggling with people and carrying her toys and blankets around the house in her mouth to keep them near.  She is full of tremendous love!  Monica is likely a Mini Bully & Staffordshire Terrier mix and she is 1 year young, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Though terrific with people, it appears she needs a one-dog household.  Please visit and ask for Monica by name.

Sable Stella Sable and Stella are adorable baby sisters with exceptionally affectionate natures.  Both girls are happiest when cuddling with people and dogs. Sable enjoys pulling the stuffing out of her stuffed animal toys.  Stella likes to throw her toys in the air and catch them before they hit the ground. The girls are likely Mastiff and Bully mixes with hazel eyes, 3 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  We expect them to grow to large size. Last month they were found tied to a gate and abandoned on ropes.  Since their rescue they have been lovingly raised and socialized in a wonderful foster home. The girls can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship.

Taylor , a docile junior kitten, was found stuck and crying under a family's home.  He is a handsome Maine Coon mix, 7 months of age, good with other cats, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Taylor enjoys snuggling with people and making "happy feet" while you pet him. Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

November 4 July 6 August Liza triumphantly debuting for adoption today! Many of you will remember this past summer when a 10-day-old blind baby was found clinging to a storm drain. A couple walking their dog after the rainstorm discovered her and saved her from being washed away and drowned. Her face was covered by an enormous scab of infection (our photo is too graphic to post), resulting in the loss of her right eye and partial destruction of her left eye. Sonja, her foster mom, named her Liza , and nurtured her with remarkably tender care. Liza's desperate will to live was evident in many ways, including how she grasped her bottle. Liza is now 4 months of age, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . More than anything, she loves being held and cuddled. A gentle, reassuring touch means everything to her. Liza is fearless at times. A special room with low-standing surfaces may continue to be ideal. She sometimes cli...

Lori , 9, loves cuddling and snuggling.    Tell her she's your "lap dog" and she will lean her head against your chest. Lori is a gentle soul, a Bully mix, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She was found abandoned in a shopping center and her past is otherwise unknown.

Mei asks for someone who loves to cuddle. Snuggling with you on the couch while reading or watching TV is likely her greatest pleasure.  Mei is a gorgeous lilac point Siamese, 8 years of age and spayed, good with cats and dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Alex Andrew Alice Alex , Alice , and Andrew -- "The Triple A Puppies" -- are exceptionally sweet.  They love to snuggle, hear your words of praise, play with their toys, and sit at your side while you read a book or watch TV.  The babies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. They are Chihuahua mixes and expected to remain small in size. Alice is a girl, while Alex and Andrew are boys.  They were surrendered by their previous owner due to financial hardship.  Please visit and ask for them by name.

Charlotte loves snuggling in your lap and hugging. This remarkable young girl is debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.   You may recall her rescue in January, when she was pregnant, and some of you may remember how she saved the life of a newborn puppy (Aspen) who had been separated from his mother. (See the link at the bottom of this post for a reminder.) Charlotte birthed and raised her babies in a wonderful foster home. They have since been spayed/neutered and adopted. Now, she is spayed and ready for a loving, forever home too. Charlotte is a medium-size blend of many breeds. Her mother (Lilly, also rescued and adopted, is a Shar Pei mix) and her father is unknown, but perhaps a Bully mix. Charlotte is 2 years of age and compatible with some dogs. She is very grateful for kindness and enjoys devoting herself to the people she loves. More details on Charlotte's rescue.

Bambino delights in snuggling, nose kissing, and cradling.  He wants to be your baby, forever. He is a cute, petite Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher mix, 2 years young, good with dogs and kids, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Bambino was surrendered by his previous owners.  The reason cited was that they didn't know how to housetrain him.  (Our experience is that kind guidance and a steady lifestyle routine completes housetraining.)

Jennifer , a peppy baby girl, loves snuggling as much as playing, and could not possibly be any cuter or sweeter.  She is a Toy & Terrier mix puppy, 4 months of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. Jennifer was found near The Strip with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not spayed).  She is ready for a stable home where she will be dearly cherished and kept safe.

Ellie delights in snuggling with people and bonding with cats and dogs.  She prefers toys that rustle, so paper balls and newspapers are far more fun for her than standard toys.  Ellie is a blue & cream & white (dilute calico) kitten with fascinating markings, 4 months of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for her safety.  Ellie was found by a family who was surprised when she walked into their home asking for help.

Nugget , a 7-pound Chihuahua & Italian Greyhound mix, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a gentle youngster, 2 years of age and neutered, compatible with cats and dogs, and housetrained & crate-trained.  Nugget is happiest snuggling in your arms and hearing reassuring words of adoration.

Camilla offers enormous devotion and unconditional love in exchange for a forever home where she will be cherished.  She is a Shih-Tzu, 4 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Camilla's favorite activities include snuggling and hearing calm voices.
