Snow White , a delightful and lovable young girl, asks for someone she can adore forever.  She is a stunning Siberian Husky, 2 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other large dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Snow White's previous owners moved away without her.  She is on daily medication to prevent/reduce epileptic seizures (and fortunately the medication is generally affordable and effective).  Please share Snow White's post to help her find a lifelong hero.

Snow White , just 8 months of age, is getting ready to bloom and beginning to build some confidence. She is still exceptionally timid and leashes terrify her. We suspect she was in a loveless home with scant care and attention. Snow White is a White Shepherd mix junior puppy, spayed girl, debuting for a hero adoption today at Nevada SPCA . We believe she will adjust best in a home with a big sister or brother dog who can give her guidance. Snow White was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity. Yin holds you tight when she hugs you and tries to sneak cat kisses on your nose and chin.  She is a beautiful spirit, a snow-white and blue-eyed shorthair, 3 years young, great with other cats, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.   Yin is very social and asks for a home where she will be showered with affection and quality time with you daily.

Snow White , a luminous young girl, enjoys talking to you with groans and low-volume barks, especially if you ask her if she wants a treat or to go for a walk.  Snow White is a Siberian Husky with crystal-blue eyes, 1 year of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She was at another shelter that asked for our help because of her severe trembling and fear. We placed Snow White in a kennel with a friendly and confident dog for companionship and she has not been fearful or trembling since.  She is a social girl and wants to be around others as much as possible.

We need foster homes today please for rescued pregnant cats who could give birth at any time. Powder Puff , pictured here is a petite, pregnant girl, about 18 months of age, a snow-white sweetheart with sky blue eyes and a gentle demeanor.  She was rescued from the streets. We have a second rescued pregnant cat today too, named Snowy Coconut , who needs a loving, comfortable home environment to birth and raise her babies. For either mom, this is approximately a 3-month foster commitment, ideally in a peaceful room in your home (like a spare bedroom or bathroom). Mac is a baby boy who loves people and cats.  But his previous owner said that the family's other cat was too rough on Mac and would not accept him.  Mac is a very playful snow-white kitten, about 8 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  The small scar on the left side of his nose is presumably from a cat tussle or other minor injury.  Please visit and ask for Mac by name in our free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms.

Dee Dee would love to be your personal assistant, helping you around the house as much as she can, always being near and loyal. She is a beautiful shorthair with a calico tail, previously declawed, spayed, about 5 years of age, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Dee Dee from another shelter. An exceptionally social boy, Sunny will surely greet you at the door when you return home every day, looking up at you with his golden eyes anticipating kind petting and chatting.  Sunny is a stunningly handsome, snow-white Persian, 8 years of age, neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Sunny needed us when his previous owner passed away unexpectedly.

Update: Mirage was adopted on February 10th! Mirage is a very lovable little beauty dreaming of a forever home. She is a snow-white shorthair with hypnotic eyes, one blue and one green, spayed, about one year young. Mirage's background is a mystery, but we know that she had been abandoned to fend for herself.  Hungry and exhausted, she crept into a person's home through the doggie door, desperately seeking food and comfort. Knarly is a volunteer favorite in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms.  He is one of 200 rescued, spayed and neutered cats for adoption showcased there in a series of rooms designed for their comfort with cat trees and ledges and hiding spots. Knarly can often be found lazily sprawled out on the floor on his back, hoping someone will pause a minute or two and rub his belly. He is a snow-white shorthair with light emerald eyes, neutered male, about 10 years old.  Someone declawed all four of his paws, yet still dumped him at a government shelter, which is where we rescued him from. Knarly is easy-going and mellow, and he is fine with other respectful cats.   He often gets overlooked as visitors seek younger felines to adopt, but this handsome boy has just as much unconditional love to share with you.

Leeda is 5 years of age, but often as playful as a kitten. She is an enchanting, gorgeous girl who cherishes attention. Leeda is a snow-white shorthair with lovely light green eyes. She is spayed and ready for adoption today. One of her favorite activities is chasing balls and other toys you throw for her. We rescued her from another shelter. Update: Crystal was adopted on June 5th! Crystal has a lovely soul to match her beautiful face and temperament. She would love to be adopted into a gentle, attentive home and spoiled rotten. Crystal needed us when her previous owner became too ill to care for her. She is a snow white shorthair, spayed female, 7 years of age. Crystal's front feet were previously declawed, so it is especially critical that she is an indoor-only cat. (We only adopt cats to indoor-only homes.) She may be best as the only pet in the home because that is what she is used to, but she is fine with other cats who respect her space. Crystal is one of 200 rescued, spayed/neutered cats for adoption today in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms. Please visit and ask for her by name.

Lila is a petite youngster who craves gentle affection. She loves to sit in your lap and enjoy your tender touch and reassurances. Lila is a mostly snow-white shorthair, spayed, and one year of age. Lila and her four kittens needed rescue and fostering when their owner lost the family home to foreclosure. Her kittens have already been spayed/neutered and adopted, so now it is her turn to find a forever home. Lila is currently living with her foster mom and she comes to the Nevada SPCA lobby every Saturday at 11am to be considered by visitors for adoption. Like all of Nevada SPCA's rescued cats, she needs and requires and deserves a strictly indoor-only home where she will be safe and cherished as a member of the family.
