Maddy

Image
Maddy , an affectionate young girl with bobcat-like good looks, needed us when her previous owner passed away.  She is a silver tabby (shaved medium-hair), 2 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Maddy likes lounging in your lap while you slowly brush her and talk sweet.

Blue Bonnet

Image
Blue Bonnet , an absolute sweetheart, loves cuddling even more than playing with her kitten toys.  She is a darling silver tabby, 4 months of age and spayed, great with other cats, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Blue Bonnet is among a group of kittens and cats we rescued from another shelter that ran out of space.  Please visit and ask for her by name.

Columbus & Magellan

Image
Columbus & Magellan , baby brothers, are fascinated by rustling noises. If you put crumpled newspaper in an empty cardboard box, they'll be entertained for hours.  The boys are rescued kittens, now 3 months of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Please kitten-proof your home for their safety.

Stanley

Image
Stanley , a very friendly youngster with hypnotic eyes, is happiest curled up in your lap and purring his heart out. He is a handsome Siberian mix, 2 years of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He appears to do best when other cats are not around. Stanley is one of eleven animals rescued so far from a defunct animal organization. His background is otherwise unknown.   Please come meet and adopt this very sweet boy.

Ford

Image
Big, gentle Ford was saved by the kindness of a young child. On the way home from school, the child watched an adult cruelly throw Ford out of a car onto the side of a road. The compassionate child picked him up -- all 22 pounds of him! -- and carried him home so he could be taken to safety. Ford loves cuddling and belly rubs. He is a calm-natured silver tabby, 5 years of age, neutered boy, good with other cats, awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Alice Jean

Image
Alice Jean , 14, saved in the nick of timing from a stoning, offers the most gentle devotion. A man was horrified to witness children at an apartment complex throwing rocks at her. ( Alice Jean's minor injuries indicate that several of the rocks struck her prior to her rescue.) The man stopped the evil and rushed Alice Jean to Nevada SPCA. She is fond of soft-spoken people and crawls into their laps for cuddling and napping. Alice Jean is good with other cats too.    She is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Please share her picture and help find her a hero who will always cherish her and keep her safely indoors.

Herman is an orange tabby, neutered boy, 4 months of age. Ryder is an Abyssinian mix, neutered boy, 3 months of age. Zoya is a silver tabby & white, spayed girl, 3 months of age. Since their rescues they have been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home with a small dog and adult cats.

Lucia

Image
Lucia's favorite things include snuggling in your arms and looking out windows (watching "cat TV") from the safety and comfort of the indoors.  She is a beautiful spirit, a silver tabby & white shorthair with jewel eyes, 1 year young, good with other cats, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Lucia was found abandoned on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Leon

Image
Leon finds goodness in every cat, child, adult, and dog he meets. He just wants to feel accepted and have everyone around him content and belonging too.  Leon is a silver tabby with jewel eyes and mousy good looks, 8 years of age and neutered, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Leon's favorite activities include lounging on cat trees, playing hockey with catnip toy mice, and batting at paper balls he finds on the floor.  He needed us due to his previous owner's declining health.

Shelly

Image
Shelly , petite and pixie-like and still a baby herself (10 months of age), had two newborns at the time of rescue.  Her babies have since been raised, spayed/neutered, and adopted.  Now, Shelly is spayed and ready to find a loving, forever home too. She is a bright-eyed girl with a playful spirit.  Shelly has jewel eyes, light silver tabby coloring, and she is compatible with other cats once she adjusts to them.  Please visit our Ocean Playroom at Nevada SPCA and ask for Shelly by name.

Mrs. Doubtfire

Image
Mrs. Doubtfire , 12, needed us when her previous owner passed away.  She is easy-going and thoughtful, and happiest each day when you return home.  Mrs. Doubtfire is great with gentle kids and cats and she is spayed and previously declawed (front paws).  Please help find her a gentle home.

Will I be loved again?

Image
Fiona is heartbroken and forlorn about losing her previous owner (who moved into hospice).  Volunteers and staff are working to lift her spirits and engage her in some games with fuzzy toy mice.  Fiona is a gorgeous longhair silver tabby, about 7 years of age, previously declawed, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this very sweet portrait to help Fiona find a loving, forever home.

Snow Leopards -- Kaos and Willow.

Image
Kaos Willow These two gorgeous youngsters, brother and sister, needed us because their previous owner was allergic to them. Kaos and Willow are silver tabby Maine Coon cats, just one year of age, spayed/neutered, with loving and gentle personalities. Please plan on regular brushing and grooming care.  And, like all cats, they an indoor-only home for their safety and protection. Kaos and Willow can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong companionship.

I never want to go hungry again, please.

Apache has become such a regal, magnificent boy and we are so proud of him. At the time of rescue he was emaciated from starvation, on the mean streets and distraught with hunger and weakness. We have been carefully monitoring his food and treats and supplements and his weight gain has been steady and right on track. Apache is a stunning silver tabby, neutered boy, about 8 years of age. Please keep him strictly indoors so that he never knows danger again.
