Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Betsy is a radiant youngster who loves playing in water. Please get her a mobile wading pool of some kind for endless hours of pleasure. Betsy and her five newborns were at another shelter that asked for our help. (All of her babies thrived with her nurturing care and they will be ready for adoption later this summer.) Betsy is a very friendly and jolly girl, a Queensland Heeler mix, 3 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Whisper shines with good cheer and hopes everyone she meets will love her.  She is a beautiful young spirit, a German Shepherd mix, 1 year of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Whisper was at another shelter that asked for our help.  She is not compatible with small dogs and other small animals. But we believe she has the temperament to be wonderful with mature children.

Sammy is sporty and loves hiking, but when it's time to relax he thinks of himself as a "lap dog". He is very devoted to those he loves and wants to join you for every activity, even simple car rides. Sammy is a handsome Shepherd mix, 5 years of age and neutered, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . He reportedly worries that children and dogs are going to try to steal his toys. An adult-only home without other animals is ideal for Sammy .

Nadia is blooming! She's a baby girl overflowing with enthusiasm and sharing her smiles with everyone who praises her. We rescued her from another shelter where she was trembling. After about an hour of reassuring attention from her caretakers, she rolled over on her back and asked for a belly rub, then started giving hugs. Nadia is a unique blend of many breeds and expected to grow to large size. She is 5 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Gracie , a young girl with a shining spirit, loves to look warmly in your eyes and bring out your smile.  She is a medium-size blend of breeds, including Australian Shepherd, 1 year of age and spayed, housetrained, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Gracie was at another shelter that ran out of space.  She is reportedly compatible with older kids, but gets anxious and fearful of young children (for reasons in her past unknown).

Benji is now shining and on his way to reaching his full loving potential!  He is a boy with exceptional good looks, Heinz 57 with Terrier, 6 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Benji was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity and intolerance of strangers.  He has accepted the kindness of staff and volunteers very well. Benji can continue blooming in an experienced home with a steady lifestyle routine.

Bruce shines with goodwill and adoration for every nice person he meets.    His favorite things include playing with kids, fetching his toy moose, and resting loyally at your side. Bruce is an attractive blend of Queensland Heeler & Shepherd, 9 years of age, housetrained & crate-trained, good with cats and dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . He needed us when his previous family moved to Hawaii.

Lulu , a baby girl with a shining spirit, eagerly awaits her new life.  She is a remarkably cute Queensland Heeler puppy, 7 months of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Lulu was surrendered by her previous owners, one of whom was allergic to her.  An active, social lifestyle routine is ideal for this intelligent and athletic girl.

Peeps shines with joy when she knows you are happy with her.  She is a beautiful spirit, an Australian Shepherd mix, 4 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Peeps was at another shelter that asked for our help because she was trembling and hiding in the corner of her kennel.  We placed Peeps with a confident dog and she promptly became poised, chin up, feeling secure.

Addison shines when he is the center of attention. He wants everyone around him to be happy too. Addison is a small Heinz 57 with the kindest face, perhaps a blend of Beagle and Toy breeds, 8 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Angelo watches you carefully, desperate for signs that you approve of him. When he knows you're happy, he shines! If you pick up a mop or broom, he lowers his head and runs from you as fast as he can. We can only imagine what Angelo has endured. He still wants and needs to believe in people. Please never let him down.    Angelo is a Bichon Frise mix, perhaps with Poodle, 3 years young, neutered boy, fine with other dogs, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help due to this timidity.

Tommy is beginning to shine as he realizes that days of neglect and cruelty are over.  He is a young Shih-Tzu, 2 years of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Tommy was found in poor, matted condition on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.  He is fussy about leashes and worries about strangers. Tommy needs a gentle, stable home where his progress with trust can continue.

Vladimir , a charismatic boy, may be happiest when playing ball with kids.  He shines when he knows you are going to include him in fun activities.  Vladimir is a Carolina Dog mix, 4 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Lisa is a luminous youngster who shines when she feels secure.  She is a beautiful, medium-size (32 pounds) blend of many breeds, 3 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Lisa was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity.  She likes other dogs, but may get jealous if she fears they are stealing away all of your attention.  We believe Lisa will thrive wonderfully in an experienced home where she can continue blooming.

Monarch shines with good cheer! His smile reveals so much hope and trust.  Monarch is a Border Collie, housetrained, 8 years of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is good with other friendly dogs, if fed separately. He cannot be around cats.  Monarch was at another shelter and needed our help.

Ginger shines when she knows you are happy with her. The victim of abuse, she deeply worries that strangers may disapprove of her and intend harm. Ginger has enormous loving potential and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She is a German Shepherd mix, blended with many other breeds, 3 years young and spayed.    We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help and don't know yet whether she is compatible with other dogs.    Please help find a peaceful, stable forever home for Ginger .

Finn shines when you tell him he's a fantastic boy.    He is 6 years of age, full of innocence, and overjoyed to have your attention and approval. Finn is a an especially attractive German Shepherd, neutered, housetrained, good with kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He was surrendered to another shelter (for "barking"), which in turn asked for our help because he is picky about dogs and intolerant of cats.    Please share Finn's picture and help find him a very loving, forever home.

Scotty continues to progress beautifully and we are celebrating his improvements with these wonderful new portraits courtesy of Pet'ographique .  He is an American Bulldog mix, 5 years of age and neutered, housetrained, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Scotty enjoys long, leisurely walks and may be compatible with some dogs.  Thanks to dedicated volunteers and staff, he is recovering from extreme neglect and abuse.  Experienced, adult-only home needed to help him continue reaching for his full loving potential.

Alexandria now understands there is kindness in the world, and thanks to months of loving attention from volunteers, her spirits are soaring with hope!  She is a medium-size Heinz 57 (unique blend of many breeds), 2 years young, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  An abuse survivor, found abandoned on the streets, she is still shy with strangers, but she quickly warms to people and shines.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these remarkable portraits to help Alexandria find a responsible, loving forever home.
