"You're all I have, so please don't give up on me." Pumba , a young Abyssinian guinea pig, was surrendered when his previous family "got bored" with him.    He is especially shy and fearful of people, so an experienced owner with the patience to help him get socialized is needed.    Pumba is 1 year young and ready for adoption today in the Lovebug Room at Nevada SPCA.

Austin howls and cries when he is lonely. He is a social boy and beams when you praise him or sit close to him.    Austin is a Chocolate Doberman Pinscher, 8 years of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Austin was found in horrific condition on the streets by a kind woman. Besides extreme obesity, the food he was eating was not nutritious, resulting in hair loss, dry skin, and itching. All attempts to trace his microchip ID to a previous owner were unsuccessful. At the shelter, Austin is now eating premium food and he is on thyroid medication and improving a bit more each day.    Please share his picture to help him find a hero so he will never be neglected so terribly again.

Cheerio is a polite sweetheart offering you his unconditional devotion in exchange for a responsible, stable loving forever home.  He is a noble boy, a White Shepherd mix, 4 years of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Cheerio was at another shelter that asked for our help.

Jessica is recovering from neglect and becoming hopeful for her future.  Now groomed and eating premium food, she is unrecognizable from her matted condition at the time of rescue.  Jessica is a darling girl, a Bichon Frise & Poodle mix, spayed, good with dogs and mature kids, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Maxine is a luminous, vibrant young girl with an easy smile and tremendous enthusiasm for adventure.    She is a German Shepherd & Siberian Husky mix with sky-blue eyes, 1 year of age, good with large dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Maxine was found and captured in the parking lot of a large department store. She had no sign whatsoever of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not spayed).    Maxine deserves a stable, responsible, experienced home where she will always be safe and where her play-biting will be corrected.

Rose is a baby girl who demurely asks for your consideration to accept her love and make her a valued member of your forever family.  She is an adorable and fun-loving puppy, about 6 months of age, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Rose is likely to grow to at least medium size, perhaps a blend of Dingo & Bully and other breeds, making her perfectly unique.  She was found wandering a neighborhood looking for someone to help her and she had no sign of responsible ownership (no microchip ID, no ID tag, not spayed).

Sharon's whole body wiggles when you tell her she's a sweetheart! She is a young Bull Terrier and she is healing well and ready to love. At the time of rescue Sharon was found abandoned and injured on the streets. The large gash on the left side of her face required surgery. Equally as troubling were all of the old wounds and scars on her face and body, seemingly indicating that her previous owner was purposefully having her fight with other dogs (or at least not preventing it from occurring). Because of all that she endured, she cannot be around any other animals. Sharon adores people and wants to make them happy. Selena , a bright spirit, fills with joy when she knows you approve of her.  She is a gorgeous German Shepherd, good with dogs of all size and mature kids, housetrained & crate-trained, 5 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Selena needed us when her previous owner moved away without her.

Andrea is happiest in your arms or lap, cuddling and hugging, sneaking doggie kisses on your cheeks.  She is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Queensland Heeler, 3 years young and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Andrea was found on the streets and repeated attempts to trace her microchip ID to a previous owner were not successful.  She is eager to join a responsible, loving home, so please come meet her today.

Jordan , an intelligent young boy just 1 year of age, somehow survived for at least 3 weeks abandoned in the Spring Mountains (the mountain range west of Las Vegas). The people who finally captured him said he was terrified of humans, but was so lonely and wanted to play with their dogs. Luciano , with a whimsical appearance reminiscent of a Dr. Seuss character, likes giving doggie kisses to people who talk sweet to him. Treasure wonders whether new people like him and breaks hearts with his pleading eyes.  Once he realizes you accept him, he relaxes and accepts kindness.  Treasure is a young, petite Beagle mix, 3 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We believe he will adjust best in a home with a sister or brother dog for guidance.

Thor loves cuddling with adults, bonding with kids, playing with dogs, and chasing tennis balls. Melanie loves giving hugs. She is an affectionate, polite young girl who wants you to be pleased with her.  Melanie is a beautiful tri-color (blue-grey/tan/white) Bully mix, 2 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Melanie is compatible with other dogs she knows and accepts. We believe she has the temperament to be terrific with children.  Melanie was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Gregory & Gerald , young brothers who love to dance and step up on your legs for attention, debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  They are slender Chihuahua mixes with curly-Q tails and Batman-shaped ears, 2 years of age, good with other dogs, and now neutered.  The boys were found roaming the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.  Gregory & Gerald are strongly bonded, together forever.

Lollipop sits politely at your side and chirps pleas for you to gently rub her head and ears.  She is a super sweet young girl, a black & white shorthair, 2 years of age and spayed, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Lollipop enjoys other friendly cats.  She was captured by a kind person who witnessed her nearly get run over by a car. We traced Lollipop's microchip, but her previous owner failed to respond and reclaim her.  She deserves a responsible home where she will always be safely indoors and treasured as a valued member of the family.
