Duncan

Image
Duncan worries that people disapprove of him.    Once reassured that you are pleased with him, he begins to calm and sit closer to you.    It's heartbreaking he has such little self-esteem at 7 years of age, but it's certainly not too late for him to come to realize that he is magnificent and worthy of love. Duncan is a small Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix, neutered boy, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued him from another shelter.     Please help find a hero for Duncan .

Damon

Damon asks for a peaceful and very stable home, free of violence or screaming. He is recovering from abuse and neglect.  Damon is an American Eskimo Dog, 7 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Damon from another shelter that asked for our help due to his fear of people.  Please help find a hero for Damon .

Cheri

Image
Cheri does not yet understand that she is safe.  We could hardly photograph her this morning because our team kept taking turns hugging and kissing her with reassurance.  Cheri is so devastated from abuse that she won't walk on a leash, so we carry her everywhere she goes.  She is a small Labrador Retriever mix, 4 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Cheri's past is mostly unknown.  We rescued her from another shelter and it appears her previous owner repeatedly bred her for puppies.  Please help find Cheri a hero.

My soul is healing.

Escondido is large, handsome youngster, a boy with a Smooth Collie face and Borzoi-like body, 2 years of age, neutered, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He gets along beautifully with other dogs.  Escondido looks at people he trusts with complete adoration, like they're pure gold.  But he is very wary of strangers and we suspect he has been the victim of abuse.  Please help find Escondido an experienced, stable home where he can awaken to the certain knowledge that he will never be hurt again.
