Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Hadiya ("gift"), 13, is a regal, wise girl needing a very peaceful home.  She is a Savannah, spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Hadiya likes gentle cuddling, but prefers not being picked up.  Other cats agitate her and she would like a home where she could have her own room or be in a one-cat household.  We rescued Hadiya from another shelter that asked for our help after she was confiscated from an animal center last week.

Loki , 13, a gentle soul, needs someone to love.  He needed us when his previous owner became terminally ill. He is so confused by what has happened, but he's trying to adjust and accept the friendship and companionship of other rescued cats, as well as his caretakers.  Loki is a good-looking grey & white longhair, neutered boy, awaiting adoption in the Ocean Playroom at Nevada SPCA.  Please help find a hero for Loki .

The Count , 11, wise and noble, has the look of someone keeping an ancient secret. But the reality is that he just wants to love and be loved, and he is as gentle as a kitten. The Count asks for a peaceful home.    He likes calm cats and his greatest contentment is sitting at your side and enjoying moments of leisure.    Please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for him by name.

Leonard kisses your hand and wrist as you pet him.  He is so grateful for all kindness and attention.  Leonard needed us when his previous owner passed away.  He is a tuxedo shorthair, 10 years of age, neutered boy, good with other cats, previously declawed (front paws), and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Zoe , 12, likes sitting her front paws in your hands while you brush her. She is an optimistic and very friendly girl, a tuxedo British Shorthair mix, good with cats and dogs, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Zoe needed us when her previous owner passed away. New Year's Eve adoption hours are 10am-2pm. New Year's Day adoption hours are 10am-5pm. Thank you.

St. John , 10, dreaming of someone he can always count on.  He fell into severe depression after being surrendered (when his previous owners moved away). St. John likes being held, so staff and volunteers work to keep his spirits up by holding him in their laps.  He is shy and best suited for a one-cat household.  St. John is neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please help find him a hero.

  Update 2: Benny has been adopted! Update 1: New information came to light since his original post indicating that Benny is 20 years of age, not 15. Benny , 20, is happiest in your arms, burying his face in your neck and purring contentedly. He also loves other cats. Benny's previous owner died. He has some minor neurological damage (from an old trauma that we have no details about) and cannot jump, but he walks and eats and cuddles regularly. Benny is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.
