Celine

Celine , a petite & exceptionally sweet girl just rescued from a parking lot, will give birth at any moment. A foster hero is needed immediately please so she can birth and raise her babies in the peace and comfort of a loving home environment. Please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Celine is 1 year young and she is grateful for all kindness. In addition, foster heroes are also needed please for 15 rescued motherless kittens and a mother cat and her 4 newborns. Thank you!

Estelle and the benevolence of foster parents.

Estelle , pregnant, and blind, was found today on a family's porch with no sign whatsoever of responsible ownership. As we were preparing to post Estelle's picture and ask for a foster hero, a remarkable foster mom named Ellen stepped forward to help her. Estelle will live with Ellen while she births and weans her babies, then mom and kittens will be spayed/neutered and ready for adoption in August. Even though Estelle is now safe and in a nurturing foster home, we wanted to share her story and thank again the inspiring and benevolent foster parents and other volunteers who dedicate so much of their hearts and time to fragile lives desperate for kindness.

Ash

15 rescued newborn kittens cherished Ash as their surrogate mom and her tender nurturing enabled all to survive and thrive. Ash was pregnant and homeless at the time of her rescue. Her own babies were stillborn, but she heard the voices and cries of a rescued litter of newborns and called for them, immediately taking all into her care.    When the first litter was weaned, Ash took a second litter of rescued newborns and saved them too. Ash is 3 years young and now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    She loves being the center of attention and shows tremendous affection to people in return for their kindness.

Demi and her sons.

Demi Benny Gabe Demi and her sons, Benny and Gabe , are ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Like their mother, the baby boys (3 months, neutered) have extra toes (polydactyl).  Demi was pregnant at the time of rescue.  She raised her kittens in a loving foster home.  Demi is 4 years of age, very affectionate, and now spayed.  The boys are sporty and love all of their toys.

Juno

Juno , an exceptionally affectionate youngster, heroically saved 7 motherless newborn kittens.  Today, she is spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org), and we want to find her a home where she will be showered with cuddling and love. At the time of her rescue, Juno was pregnant.  She had only one kitten, who was stillborn.  When she returned from a veterinary hospital (for x-rays, to ensure no other kittens were inside her), Juno heard the cries of newborn motherless kittens being surrendered to us and began chirping and calling out for them.  Juno took exceptional care of the babies and lovingly raised them in a wonderful foster home.  Juno is very social and best suited for a home where she will get a great deal of companionship with people and cats.  She is a sandy brown tabby, 3 years of age. Please help find her a terrific forever home.

Luna and her sons are ready for loving, indoor-only forever homes.

David, baby boy Devon, baby boy Luna, mother Baby brothers David and Devon , and their mother, Luna, are now spayed/neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Luna , a graceful 3-year-old, was pregnant at the time of rescue.  She gave birth to three kittens and raised them in a loving foster home.  One of her babies was adopted by the foster parents.  David and Devon are 3 months of age.  Please kitten-proof your home for their safety. David likes to play under blankets and play "ambush" when you walk by.  Devon enjoys jumping at hand-held cat toys and watching "Animal Planet" with you.  Luna gets along beautifully with other cats of all ages and she delights in exploring new rooms and toys.

Golden brown, spotted kittens who love to cuddle are debuting for adoption today.

Amos Matilda Walter Matilda and her two brothers, Amos and Walter , have been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home with cats and dogs. Their foster mom, Julie, said they love to lay in your lap and stay there for as long as you will allow. The kittens' mother was pregnant at the time of rescue and we placed her in the foster home so that her babies would be born in the peace and comfort of a home environment.  Their mom has since been spayed and adopted. Amos , Matilda , and Walter are now 4-5 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  All three have exceptionally attractive spotted tabby markings and golden brown coloring.  They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair, or the trio, for lifelong companionship. Please be sure to kitten-proof your home for their safety.
