Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Cassie & Valerie , friendly young soul-mates, debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. They are wonderfully friendly and eager to love. We rescued them from another shelter and their history is otherwise unknown. They wanted to jump out of the truck at the same time and then walked into Nevada SPCA shoulder-to-shoulder, reassured at each others' side. Both are medium-sized, 1-2 years of age, and spayed. Cassie is an Aussie Cattle Dog mixed with many other breeds. Valerie is a small Labrador Retriever mix.     Please help us find a terrific forever home where they will be together forever.

Sabrina is a young Pekingese with a beautiful spirit and she loves to cuddle.  She is 2 years of age, spayed, good with other dogs, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Sabrina has been waiting for this special day for many weeks.  At the time of rescue she was at another shelter that asked for our help.  Sabrina had sustained severe trauma to her back (from unknown cause) and had a perilous twisted hernia.  Her back has improved and her hernia has been repaired.  Sabrina is now ready to share her unconditional love with someone who will make a lifetime commitment to her.

Vicki must surely be an angel on Earth, wanting to hug everyone and share her joy and kindness.  She is a vibrant Australian Shepherd & Border Collie mix, 6 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Vicki was at another shelter and needed our help.  Her left eye was malformed (by birth defect or injury) beyond repair.  Vicki has healed well from her eye removal and she is very ready to begin her new life.

Texas cannot see you, so your kind touch and words mean the world to him.  He is a sweetheart baby boy and when he knows he is adored and treasured, he will cover your cheeks with puppy kisses.  Texas is 4 months of age and blind, a Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher mix, neutered, great with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please very carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety, especially around pools, stairs, and other potential dangers.  We rescued him from another shelter.  Please help find a hero for Texas .

Topher is a serene older boy with a broken heart.  At the time of rescue he was at another shelter, after being found alone on the Vegas streets, and his previous owner failed to reclaim him.  Volunteers and staff are working to counter his feelings of rejection, by holding him and walking him, and by telling him that he is wanted and adorable.  Topher is a Dachshund, about 10 years of age, neutered, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please help us find him a hero who will shower him with love and compassion in a gentle home environment.
