Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Nancy is delighted to find baskets of all shapes and sizes. With a cozy blanket, she finds them to be the most comfortable and peaceful places for her catnaps. Nancy is a golden brown tabby, 1 year young, great with other cats, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    She needed us due to her previous owners' financial hardship.

Gino , confident and calm, enjoys bonding with children, adults, and cats.  He is a large, handsome cream tabby, 5 years of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Gino needed help after his previous owners moved away and abandoned him outdoors.

Blanche , a slender and graceful young girl, acrobatically leaps around the room to chase the laser light. She never gives up or stops believing she will eventually capture the moving red dot.  Blanche is a beautiful spirit, a tabby & white with a distinctive half-mask, 1 year of age, good with other cats, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Dharma likes following you around the house, watching and learning, always ready to provide companionship and goodwill. She is a gorgeous, slender youngster, a calico point Siamese mix, 2 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Dharma needed us due to her previous owners' home foreclosure.

Kingston loves playing soccer with his toys. He is especially fascinated by the ones that bounce and ricochet. Kingston is 1 year young, a very attractive steel-grey & white medium-hair, neutered boy, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Kingston needed us due to his previous owners' financial hardship.

Moe is charismatic and confident.  He loves people and greets strangers with ease.  If Moe sees you with toys, especially wand toys, he runs to you and becomes kitten-like and acrobatic.  He is an exceptionally handsome tuxedo medium-hair, 2 year young and neutered, fine with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Mitchell is fond of hearing you speak to him. Tell him about your thoughts or read him a story, and he'll roll over on his back and stare at you with adoration, basking in the attention. Mitchell is an attractive young cream tabby shorthair, 3 years of age, good with other cats, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    He was found abandoned in a vacated apartment, along with a mother cat and her babies. (The mother cat and babies were rescued too and will be ready for adoption in the weeks to come.)

Annie Oakley , bashful and tender-hearted, gently headbutts your hand to ask you to pet her. If you rub her ears, she'll melt in your arms. Annie Oakley's past is mostly unknown, except that she was confiscated from a cruel or neglectful home and taken to another shelter (which then asked for our help due to her timidity).    She is 9 years of age, spayed, previously declawed, and compatible with other sweet cats.    Please visit Nevada SPCA and adopt Annie Oakley and give her a peaceful home full of love and compassion.

Pat relishes a leisurely lifestyle that includes plentiful petting, brushing, and belly rubs.  He is easy-going and content, always "chilling" and relaxed.  Pat is a handsome black shorthair, 4 years of age and neutered, awaiting adoption in the Treehouse Playroom at Nevada SPCA.

Ashly would love to be your very own little tiger. He has a heart of gold and amiable personality. Ashly is a large boy with majestic coloration, perhaps a Bengal or Spangled mix, 9 years of age, previously declawed (front paws), good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Bonnie's favorite things include sitting in your lap, napping at your side, and rolling around on her catnip toys.  She is a wonderfully friendly and social young girl with stunning spots, ticking and coloration -- perhaps an Egyptian Mau or spangled mix -- 2 years of age, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We believe Bonnie has the temperament to be good with children and she gets along well with other cats too.

Laszlo is a big, confident, and wonderfully friendly young boy who enjoys meeting people.  He likes cats too and sees the best in everyone.  Laszlo has stunning good looks (whiskers with dramatic flair, longhair tuxedo, no tail) and he is 3 years of age, neutered, and ready for adoption in the Treehouse Playroom at Nevada SPCA.

Tomas now holds his head high, meets people with ease and asks for petting.  This young boy has come so far! At the time of rescue he was out on the streets and so ill and weak that his head hung low near his feet.  Tomas is a handsome boy, 2 years of age, neutered, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA in the Ocean Playroom.

Tony likes playing peek-a-boo when he's hiding under blankets.  We are happy to see his comical side begin to emerge as he feels more comfortable and secure.  Tony is a humble, handsome boy, a marbled tabby & white shorthair, 6 years of age and neutered, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA in the Treehouse Playroom.  He likes other calm cats too. We rescued Tony from another shelter.

Betsy lounges politely and majestically, watching everyone's activities.    When she's in a playful mood, she adorably tries to catch and chase all of her toys at once, getting all of them involved. Betsy is a silver tabby medium-hair, 4 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Shelly , petite and pixie-like and still a baby herself (10 months of age), had two newborns at the time of rescue.  Her babies have since been raised, spayed/neutered, and adopted.  Now, Shelly is spayed and ready to find a loving, forever home too. She is a bright-eyed girl with a playful spirit.  Shelly has jewel eyes, light silver tabby coloring, and she is compatible with other cats once she adjusts to them.  Please visit our Ocean Playroom at Nevada SPCA and ask for Shelly by name.

Jewel finds the softest blankets and makes "happy feet" -- rhythmically kneading her paws -- before curling up for a nap.  She enjoys people and other cats. Casper asks for you to accept his lifelong devotion.  He is gentle and friendly, compatible with cats and blessed with a temperament that may make him terrific with kids.  Casper is a good-looking orange tabby, 3 years young, a neutered boy, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He became homeless due to his previous owner's financial hardship.

O'Reilly , a charismatic little gentleman, likes dogs and helps us determine which dogs are cat-friendly.    He also likes cats, but he may play too rough for toddlers or young children. O'Reilly is a London tabby with handsome marbled coloration, 7 years of age and neutered, awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.    His favorite things include perching on cat trees and getting rump scratches.    O'Reilly needed us due to the declining health of his previous owner.

Gabby is happiest snuggling with you on the couch, occasionally kissing your chin, so grateful for your kindness and care.  Her other favorite activities include bird-watching from the windows, chasing her toys, and bonding with cats and dogs.  Gabby is a beautiful, chatty calico (or tortoiseshell & white), 5 years of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please visit her in the Catnip Cabana playroom.
