Estelle and the benevolence of foster parents.

Image
Estelle , pregnant, and blind, was found today on a family's porch with no sign whatsoever of responsible ownership. As we were preparing to post Estelle's picture and ask for a foster hero, a remarkable foster mom named Ellen stepped forward to help her. Estelle will live with Ellen while she births and weans her babies, then mom and kittens will be spayed/neutered and ready for adoption in August. Even though Estelle is now safe and in a nurturing foster home, we wanted to share her story and thank again the inspiring and benevolent foster parents and other volunteers who dedicate so much of their hearts and time to fragile lives desperate for kindness.

Ray

Ray learns rooms, counters, and ledges so well that you may soon forget that he is blind. Please be sure to keep this in mind though for safety precautions throughout your home. Ray is a handsome gentleman with seal point coloring, 9 years of age and neutered, previously declawed (front paws), ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    He is generally mellow and enjoys chatting with you and sitting at your side.

Lily, dreaming of a hero.

Image
Lily cannot see you, but she responds to your touch and melts in your arms when you talk to her reassuringly.  She is a lovely shorthair with tortoiseshell coloring, about 4 years of age and spayed, awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Lily's eyes were not fully formed (birth defect), so she is mostly blind.  She learns rooms quickly.  At the time of rescue her previous owners were attempting to have her destroyed and cited her eyes as the reason.  Lily has tremendous devotion to share.  Please help find her a hero.
