A kinder world begins with saving one innocent life at a time.

Our deepest thanks to all of you who support animal rescue, rehabilitation & adoption!   Nevada SPCA's lifesaving work for those in desperate need is possible only because of your compassion and generosity. (We are not funded by the government or national animal groups.)  We hope you will participate in "Giving Tuesday" on December 3 , which is a national day of charity, or at any time during the holiday season at your convenience. More information on Giving Tuesday. Special thanks to Pet'ographique ( www.petographique.com ) for these glorious portraits of rescued animals (Nautilus, Serenity, Felix, and Stanley) and this collage for Giving Tuesday and the season of giving.

Gentle spirits asking only for kindness -- a special moment captured.

Glory and Byron were both at Pet'ographique yesterday for portraits.  Though rescued separately, and available for adoption separately, this magical moment of two gentle spirits meeting was captured and we want to share it with you. Glory is a lively & gorgeous young Dutch mix bunny, just 8 months of age, a spayed girl, ready for adoption in Nevada SPCA's Lovebugs Room. Byron is a very petite Chihuahua, 10 years of age, neutered boy, great with other dogs, and he longs to be loved.
